Palo Alto Networks, the cybersecurity giant has revealed its new cloud location dedicated to serving customers in the UK.
The company said that the UK cloud location will give organizations the benefit of accessing directly Palo Alto Networks Cortex XDR, Cortex Data Lake and WildFire, while also will allow them to store their data within the UK.

Palo Alto Networks added that their current commitment to customers worldwide includes investing in local cloud infrastructure regardless where their database is located.
Christian Hentschel, president of EMEA, Palo Alto Networks has stated:
Our customers rely on us to secure their digital transformation and scale cloud services with confidence. Our UK cloud location provides customers with global prevention, detection and response capabilities to counter increasingly sophisticated threats while addressing their data sovereignty and privacy needs.
The cloud location in the UK supports Cortex XDR, Cortex Data Lake and WildFire, giving all enterprise customers access to said services without the data going out of the United Kingdom:
Cortex XDR: UK customers can fully utilize the Cortex XDR extended detection and response platform. It integrates endpoint, network and cloud data to fully mitigate attacks of a sophisticated manner.
Cortex Data Lake: UK customers can collect, transform and integrate the security data of their enterprise to enable Palo Alto Networks solutions.
WildFire: UK customers have the ability to use the industry’s most advanced cloud-based threat analysis and prevention engine. That will ensure files submitted for analysis to stay in the UK region to address data privacy and sovereignty concerns.
Hentschel added:
The demand for Cortex XDR, Cortex Data Lake and WildFire has grown dramatically over the past year.
