5 Best Black Friday Dedicated Server Deals (2026)

Liquid Web's cheapest bare metal server cost USD 23.70 a month for six months in the 2024 Black Friday sale. A year later the same box was USD 44 for three months, an offer running since April. Below, each sale price sits beside its pre-sale price.

Quick answer: Four of these six entry servers cost the same in the 2025 sale as before. Hetzner waived some setup fees, and Contabo took 11.1% off its 12-month rate. Buying now? OVHcloud's KS-5 is USD 19.00/mo prepaid for a year, and Hetzner's AX41 gives 64 GB for USD 69.00 with no contract.

Ultahost - Best for a Managed Server Locked at One Price

Black Friday 2025: Ulta-X1 USD 74.80/mo on 24 months (no cut) | Today: USD 93.50/mo on 24 months, USD 81.88 on 36 | Renews: same price

USD 373.99. That was the struck-through price on Ultahost's entry dedicated server on 14 November 2025, next to a "Save 80%" badge. Three weeks earlier, the same card struck through USD 93.50 and said "Save 20%". Both times you paid USD 74.80 a month on a 24-month term.

The 2024 sale didn't move it either: copies from 17 September and 2 December 2024 show USD 74.80. It moved on 1 August 2026 instead. Ultahost's own pricing post lists the monthly rate rising from USD 84.00 to USD 104.99, or 25%. On 24 months it's now USD 93.50.

The server under the badge is old. Ulta-X1 runs an Intel Xeon E3-1265L v3, a 4-core chip from the second quarter of 2013. Intel's page puts its end of servicing updates, after which fixes may stop, at 30 June 2021. The chip takes DDR3 memory only, though Ultahost's 2025 cards called the 16 GB "DDR5". You get one 256 GB SSD with no RAID and a 300 Mbit/s port.

Ultahost's dedicated page promises "a 30-day money-back guarantee". The refund page rules out refunds "when canceling any contract period" of a dedicated plan. So there's no refund at any term. Its shared plans hide a similar gap, as our Ultahost review explains. For USD 24.50 a month less, Hetzner's AX41 gives you four times the RAM on two NVMe drives, though unmanaged and in Europe.

  • Pro: every term renews at the price you start on
  • Pro: sold as managed, with DDoS protection listed
  • Pro: 14 locations in the server filter, from Seoul to São Paulo
  • Con: a 2013 CPU with DDR3 memory at USD 93.50
  • Con: no refund on any dedicated contract

Pricing: Ulta-X1 is USD 104.99 monthly, USD 99.38/mo on 12 months, USD 93.50/mo on 24 months and USD 81.88/mo on 36 months (USD 2,947.59 in all). Each term renews at the same rate.

Best for: a small managed server you'll keep for three years. Skip if: you want modern hardware or a way out.

Verdict: Buy Ultahost only if you want the server managed for you and will stay the full term. Don't wait for November, because both recent sales charged the September price. If raw hardware matters more than management, OVHcloud's KS-5 has twice the RAM for USD 19.00.

Liquid Web - Best for US Bare Metal With Mirrored Disks

Black Friday 2025: Xeon E-2134 USD 44 for 3 months, then 88 (no cut) | Today: USD 88/mo, or USD 74.80 on two years | Renews: same rate

Liquid Web's best Black Friday came a year early. In the 2024 sale, its Intel Xeon E-2134 bare metal server cost USD 23.70 a month for six months. On 2 October 2024, before the banner, it was USD 79 with no discount.

The 2025 sale ran from 30 October to 5 December, by Liquid Web's own FAQ. The server showed USD 44 for three months, then USD 88. Copies from April, July and September 2025 show the same offer, so the sale changed nothing. Add up the first year: the 2024 deal cost USD 616.20, the 2025 one USD 924.00.

For that you get a 4-core Xeon E-2134 from 2018 and 16 GB of RAM. Two 480 GB SSDs run in RAID 1 (mirrored, so one disk can fail without data loss). It has 10 TB of bandwidth, in Michigan only. Intel ended servicing updates for the chip on 30 June 2025. The USD 88 is self-managed; full management adds USD 39 a month and cPanel USD 65.

On 20 October 2026 the card said "50% off 2 months". The configurator and order summary showed USD 88.00 due today, with no discount line. The terms (effective 8 May 2024) make every fee non-refundable. Leaving early costs all the remaining months, and renewal is automatic unless you give 30 days' written notice.

InMotion's Essential runs the same Xeon E-2134 with 64 GB and 2 TB of SSD for USD 99.99. That's four times the RAM for USD 11.99 more, though without RAID.

  • Pro: two mirrored SSDs on the entry server
  • Pro: free self-management, USD 39 for full
  • Pro: no setup fee in the cart
  • Con: no refunds, and early exit costs the rest of the term
  • Con: the advertised 50% didn't show in the cart

Pricing: USD 88/mo monthly, or USD 74.80/mo on a two-year prepay (15% off). Fully managed with cPanel and 500 GB of Acronis backups is USD 242.00/mo, or USD 205.70/mo over two years, with USD 4,936.80 due up front.

Best for: a self-managed US server with mirrored disks. Skip if: you need more than 16 GB or a refund window.

Verdict: Buy Liquid Web for RAID 1 in a US data center, and buy it when you need it, since 2025's sale matched its spring price. Confirm the 50% with sales in writing first. If 16 GB is too little, InMotion's Essential is the step up.

Hetzner - Best for 64 GB of RAM With No Contract

Black Friday 2025: EX44 USD 44.00/mo, setup fee waived | Today: AX41 USD 69.00/mo, EX44 USD 74.00/mo, no setup fee | Renews: same price, no minimum term

Hetzner's Black Friday cut a setup fee, not a monthly price. Its 2025 "Black Week" ran from 24 November to 1 December and removed setup fees on selected servers. The EX44 kept its EUR 39.00 (USD 44.00) monthly price, and its EUR 39 setup fee went to zero. The cheaper AX41 (then AX41-NVMe) had no setup fee to waive.

We found no Hetzner dedicated deal in 2024.

Hetzner later raised dedicated prices twice: on 1 April 2026 for new and running servers, and on 15 June 2026 for new orders. The EX44, a Core i5-13500 with 64 GB, went from EUR 39.00 to EUR 59.00, or USD 44.00 to USD 74.00 a month.

Today's cheapest box is the AX41: an AMD Ryzen 5 3600, two 512 GB NVMe drives and 64 GB of DDR4. Traffic is unlimited on a 1 Gbit/s port. It costs EUR 59.00 (USD 69.00) with no setup fee, up from EUR 37.30 (USD 42.00) in November 2025. There's no minimum term, and the cancellation period is "immediately". Liquid Web's USD 88 server has a quarter of that RAM.

Every Hetzner price here includes the primary IPv4 it adds by default, at EUR 1.70 (USD 1.90) a month. The 2025 figures are Helsinki prices, then the cheaper location; Falkenstein now costs the same. So the EX44 rose 51.3% in euros but 68.2% in dollars. The gap is in Hetzner's own tables. They added USD 10.00 to the EX44 against EUR 5.00 in April, then USD 20.00 against EUR 15.00 in June.

The AX41 and EX44 sit in Germany and Finland only, and they're self-managed.

  • Pro: 64 GB of RAM for USD 69.00
  • Pro: no setup fee and no contract on the AX41
  • Pro: unlimited traffic
  • Con: no US location for these servers
  • Con: its sale saved a fee, not a monthly bill

Pricing: AX41 USD 69.00 and EX44 USD 74.00 a month, no setup fee. The AX42 is USD 119.00 plus a USD 59 setup fee. Prices exclude VAT, per Hetzner's docs.

Best for: lots of RAM in Europe with no commitment. Skip if: your users are in the US or you want it managed.

Verdict: Buy Hetzner any week of the year, since its 2025 sale waived a fee the AX41 doesn't charge today. If your users are in North America, OVHcloud's US KS-5 costs USD 19.00 a month.

InMotion - Best for a Cheap US Server With 24/7 Support

Black Friday 2025: Aspire USD 35.00/mo on 12 months (no cut) | Today: USD 34.99/mo on 12 months (USD 419.94) | Renews: USD 49.99/mo

InMotion's entry server is the oldest machine on this list. Aspire runs an Intel Xeon E3-1246 v3 from 2014, with 16 GB of DDR3 and one 960 GB SSD. The card adds "or equivalent". Intel ended servicing updates for the chip on 30 June 2021.

Black Friday never touched it. Aspire cost USD 35.00 on 12 months on 8 October 2024 and through the 2024 sale. It cost the same on 14 November 2025 and during the 2025 sale, which ran until 9 December. The 2025 cut went to Premier Care, InMotion's managed bundle, at USD 20 a month off. Essential Premier Care fell from USD 189.98 to USD 169.98, then renewed at the old price.

The 2024 sale did trim the bigger plans: Essential went from USD 99.99 to USD 89.99. InMotion extended that sale twice, from 3 to 12 December 2024.

Two things changed after the 2025 sale. By 23 December 2025, Aspire's renewal had dropped from USD 69.99 to USD 49.99. Then, between 23 December 2025 and 4 January 2026, the page's badge went from "Up to 90-Day" to "Up to 30-Day" money back.

In the cart, Aspire comes with no control panel, command line only. InMotion's page says every dedicated server includes Launch Assist and 24/7 support. OVHcloud's KS-5 costs USD 15.99 less a month on a 12-month prepay, with twice the RAM.

  • Pro: 24/7 support included on the entry server
  • Pro: zero setup fees
  • Pro: renewal is 1.43x the first year, gentler than in 2025
  • Con: a 2014 CPU, DDR3 and a single SSD
  • Con: the refund badge shrank to 30 days

Pricing: Aspire is USD 34.99/mo for 12 months (USD 419.94), renewing at USD 49.99 (USD 599.88 a year). One month costs USD 45.00. Essential (Xeon E-2134, 64 GB, 2 TB SSD) is USD 99.99 and renews at the same price.

Best for: a cheap US server with a support desk behind it. Skip if: you need RAID or more than 16 GB.

Verdict: Buy Aspire when you need it, since neither sale has touched it. If you need mirrored disks, Liquid Web's E-2134 runs RAID 1 for USD 88.

Contabo - Best for 12 Modern Cores on a 12-Month Term

Black Friday 2025: 128 GB/2 TB, USD 103.20/mo on 12 months (11.1% off) | Today: 64 GB/1 TB, USD 131.75/mo on 12 months | Renews: not published

Contabo ran the only measurable cut on an entry server here, and it was small. On 24 November 2025 its sale page offered "20% OFF LONG-TERM PLANS on Bare Metal". For the AMD Ryzen 12 Cores server, that doubled the 12-month discount from USD 154.80 to USD 309.60.

Per month, the 12-month price fell from USD 116.10 to USD 103.20, an 11.1% cut. Monthly billing stayed at USD 129. The 2024 sale advertised a "20% Lifetime Discount" from 29 November to 3 December. On the entry DS 1, the card went from EUR 69.00 to EUR 64.00 (7.2%), with EUR 81.00 struck through.

The plan has changed twice since. By 2 March 2026 the Ryzen 12 had dropped from 128 GB and 2 TB to 64 GB and 1 TB, at EUR 96. Between 6 and 13 July 2026, that same spec went from EUR 96.00 to EUR 149.00 a month. Contabo's price data now lists USD 155 (EUR 129).

You get a 12-core Ryzen 9 7900, 64 GB of RAM and a 1 TB NVMe drive. Traffic is unlimited, IPMI (remote console access) is included, and there's no setup fee. Contabo says it specializes in self-managed servers. Outside Germany, its terms make the whole term due at once, so a 12-month order is USD 1,581 up front. The contract then extends by the same period unless you cancel four weeks ahead, and Contabo doesn't publish that price.

InMotion's Essential costs USD 31.76 a month less with 64 GB too, but only four cores. Our Contabo review prices the rest of its dedicated range on the same 12-month basis.

  • Pro: 12 current-generation cores at the entry level
  • Pro: IPMI and no setup fee
  • Pro: unlimited traffic on a 1 Gbit/s port
  • Con: the whole term is paid up front
  • Con: half the RAM and disk of the 2025 sale plan

Pricing: USD 155 monthly, or USD 131.75/mo on 12 months after Contabo's USD 279 term discount. Contabo shows US visitors net prices.

Best for: 12 cores on a one-year prepay. Skip if: you won't pay a year up front.

Verdict: Buy Contabo in its sale if you want 12 cores and will prepay a year, because the 2025 cut landed on the 12-month term only. If you'd rather pay monthly with no prepay, Hetzner's AX41 is USD 69.00.

Where the 2026 deal appears: Contabo's sale page at contabo.com/en/black-friday/, still showing "Coming Soon" on 20 October 2026.

How We Selected These Providers

We started from the six hosts on our earlier version of this page and kept only those that rent a physical server to one customer. The test was each host's own spec table or checkout. If it named the product a virtual machine, we dropped it.

Four failed. Verpex has no dedicated server page, and its 2025 "Managed Dedicated Servers" sale sold plans with 2 Xeon vCPUs. HostArmada's Dedicated CPU line lists "KVM Virtualization". Stablepoint's and MochaHost's checkouts call their "dedicated" plans managed cPanel VPS. The naming mess is the same one that makes VDS (virtual dedicated server) prices hard to compare.

We added four sellers with a dated Black Friday record on their own sites: OVHcloud, Hetzner, InMotion and Contabo. InterServer stayed out: its 2025 copies never mention Black Friday, and the archive holds no readable 2024 copy.

For each host we tracked the cheapest physical server on its US storefront, or in its own USD price data. "Normal price" means the same server and term, taken from the newest archived copy made before the sale banner appeared. We read carts and configurators without entering personal details. Sources were the hosts' pages, price APIs, terms, Wayback Machine copies, Intel's processor pages and Reddit threads.

Limits: we didn't rent or benchmark these servers, and we couldn't see invoices issued after checkout. Stock changes daily. Liquid Web and Hetzner say their prices exclude tax, and Contabo shows net prices; Ultahost, OVHcloud and InMotion show no tax line.

Was Black Friday 2025 Cheaper Than the Normal Price?

On the entry servers, almost never. Each row sets the 2025 sale price beside what the same server cost just before the sale.

Four of six charged exactly their normal price on the tracked term. Hetzner's EX44 buyers saved one setup fee, worth a month's rent; its cheaper AX41 had no fee to waive. Contabo's 12-month buyers paid 11.1% less each month, while its monthly price stayed put.

2024 was better. Liquid Web took 70% off for six months, OVHcloud's KS-5 fell 20% with free installation, and Contabo's entry server dropped 7.2%. Ultahost and InMotion cut nothing, and Hetzner ran no dedicated deal.

Several sales did discount other servers. OVHcloud cut RISE-1 and KS-6 by 10% and 15% on its US site. InMotion took USD 20 a month off its managed bundles. Ultahost's change was only on the label, as these two archived cards show.

What the Entry Servers Actually Run

Four of the six cheapest servers here run Intel chips past their end of servicing updates date, by Intel's own processor pages. Intel's security advisories say chips past that date "may no longer receive functional and security updates".

  • Ultahost Ulta-X1: Xeon E3-1265L v3, launched Q2 2013, servicing ended 30 June 2021
  • InMotion Aspire: Xeon E3-1246 v3, launched Q2 2014, servicing ended 30 June 2021
  • OVHcloud KS-5: Xeon E3-1270 v6, launched Q1 2017, servicing ended 31 March 2024
  • Liquid Web bare metal: Xeon E-2134, launched Q3 2018, servicing ended 30 June 2025

The two Haswell chips (2013 and 2014) take DDR3 memory only. The other two entry servers use AMD chips. Hetzner's AX41 has a Ryzen 5 3600 from July 2019, and Contabo's Ryzen 12 a Ryzen 9 7900.

Does an old chip matter? For a small site or a backup box, often not. For a database or anything handling payments, it does, because fixes for new CPU flaws may never reach the chip. The sale price doesn't tell you this. The spec line does.

The Fine Print on Black Friday Dedicated Deals

Refunds: dedicated servers are where refund promises thin out. Ultahost refunds no dedicated contract, despite the 30-day badge on its page. Liquid Web makes all fees non-refundable and charges every remaining month if you leave early. InMotion's badge now says "Up to 30-Day". Hetzner has no minimum term, which is the cleanest exit here.

Prepay: Contabo's terms make customers outside Germany pay the whole term at once. A 12-month Ryzen 12 is USD 1,581 on day one. Liquid Web's two-year managed bundle asks USD 4,936.80 up front.

Setup and installation: OVHcloud charges one month's rent to install a monthly KS-5, and nothing on a prepay. Hetzner's AX42 carries a USD 59 setup fee, while the AX41 and EX44 carry none. InMotion and Contabo advertise zero setup fees.

Management and panels: the cheap price is usually the unmanaged price. At Liquid Web, full management, cPanel and 500 GB of backups take the E-2134 from USD 88 to USD 242.00 a month. That's 2.75 times the server alone. Contabo and Hetzner sell self-managed machines.

New accounts only: Liquid Web's promotions are "valid for new accounts only". InMotion's 2025 deal was for new Premier Care accounts. OVHcloud's covered new orders, excluding renewals.

Stock: OVHcloud's KS-6 reads "Coming Soon" today, and Liquid Web's configurator flagged the E-2134 as out of stock. In the 2025 sale, one buyer on Reddit's OVHcloud forum said Canadian stock "was gone in minutes".

Why 2026 Dedicated Prices Start Higher

OVHcloud raised its ADVANCE-1 dedicated server from EUR 89.99 to EUR 114.99 a month for new orders on 11 August 2026. Servers already running pay the new rate at renewal from 1 October 2026. Its blog post blames memory: "DDR5 RAM now costs six times as much as it did a year ago." The Kimsufi, So you Start and Rise ranges weren't affected, and the KS-5 is a Kimsufi.

Ultahost's own pricing post makes the same point. It says dedicated servers "sit at the higher end" of its 15% to 25% rise, because they carry their own memory and storage. Liquid Web's discount also shrank, from three months to two, by January 2026.

InMotion is the exception, since Aspire's renewal fell by USD 20 a month. Contabo's rate has eased to EUR 129 since July, still above the EUR 96 it charged in June.

What does that mean for this November? Even a sale that matches 2025's will start from a higher base at Ultahost, Hetzner and Contabo. Liquid Web's monthly rate is unchanged, but its discount now covers one month fewer.

How to Choose a Black Friday Dedicated Server

Budget under USD 25/mo, users in the US, you run Linux yourself: OVHcloud's KS-5 at USD 19.00/mo on a 12-month prepay, with no installation fee. Skip InMotion's Aspire, which costs USD 34.99 for half the RAM.

You need 64 GB or more, users in Europe, no commitment: Hetzner's AX41 at USD 69.00 a month. Skip Contabo here, since its best Ryzen 12 rate needs a 12-month term.

Managed server, budget under USD 100/mo: Ultahost's Ulta-X1 at USD 93.50 on 24 months, if you accept no refunds. Skip Liquid Web for this, because its managed E-2134 costs USD 242.00.

Mirrored disks in a US data center: Liquid Web's E-2134 at USD 88, with RAID 1 on two SSDs. Skip Ultahost, whose entry server has a single SSD.

Holding out for a real Black Friday cut: wait for Contabo's sale, but only if you'll prepay 12 months, since that's where its 2025 discount landed. If you're comparing many hosts at once, our hosting finder filters by budget and location.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do dedicated server prices actually go down on Black Friday?

Rarely on entry servers. In 2025, four of these six charged exactly the same price before and during the sale. Contabo cut its 12-month rate by 11.1%, and Hetzner waived some setup fees. Cuts landed on mid-range models instead, such as OVHcloud's RISE-1 at 10% off.

What is the cheapest dedicated server in the US right now?

OVHcloud's KS-5 on its US site: USD 19.00 a month on a 12-month prepay, or USD 20 monthly plus a USD 20 installation fee. It has a 2017 Xeon E3-1270 v6 and 32 GB of RAM. InMotion's Aspire is next at USD 34.99 a month on 12 months.

Is Hetzner's AX41 better value than Liquid Web's USD 88 server?

On hardware, yes: the AX41 has 64 GB of RAM against 16 GB, for USD 19 a month less. Liquid Web wins if you need a US data center, because the AX41 sits in Germany and Finland only. Liquid Web also sets up RAID 1 for you.

Can I get a refund on a Black Friday dedicated server?

Usually not. Ultahost refunds no dedicated contract, and Liquid Web's fees are non-refundable. InMotion's page offers "Up to 30-Day" money back. Hetzner's AX41 has no minimum term, so you can cancel instead.

Final Verdict

For the lowest price on a real server in the US, OVHcloud wins. The KS-5 is USD 19.00 a month on a 12-month prepay, and its sale left it alone. For the most RAM per dollar with no contract, Hetzner's AX41 gives 64 GB for USD 69.00, if Europe suits your users.

If you want the server managed for you, Ultahost is the cheapest at USD 93.50 on 24 months, on a 2013 chip with no refunds. Liquid Web is the pick for mirrored disks in the US at USD 88. InMotion's Aspire suits a cheap US box with a support desk. Contabo is the one worth waiting for, since its 2025 sale took 11.1% off the 12-month rate.
