12 Best Cheap VPS Hosting in Brazil (Oct 2026)
A cheap VPS stops being cheap the moment every visitor waits for a round trip to Virginia. From four home internet connections in Brazil, a server in São Paulo answered in about 21 ms. A server in Ashburn took about 119 ms. That gap is why location decides this list before price does. It also explains a trap: several hosts market Brazil pages, but their VPS products don't run there. We checked each one at checkout, and the answer surprised us more than once.

Hostinger - Best for RAM per Dollar (If Brazil Comes Back)
Entry: USD 6.49/mo, 24-month prepay | Renews at: USD 11.99/mo | 1 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 50 GB NVMe | São Paulo 21.1 ms (not orderable), Boston 127.1 ms
The best-known São Paulo VPS couldn't be bought in São Paulo on 1 October 2026. Hostinger's Brazil page promises "our data center in Brazil", and its help article, updated two weeks earlier, lists Brazil for VPS. The cart disagreed. We tried KVM 1 and KVM 4 on both the global and the Brazilian storefront. Each time it offered eight locations: the UK, Germany, Lithuania, Boston, Phoenix, India, Malaysia and Indonesia. No Brazil, and no France either.
Still, the data center is real. Hostinger's server named br-asc-web1530 answered our probes in 21.1 ms on average, the same as Vultr's São Paulo region. A Brazilian developer on Reddit wrote in May 2026 that Hostinger had no Brazilian VPS on offer, so this gap isn't new. We can't tell whether it's a stock shortage or a withdrawal. Check the location menu before you pay, because the nearest location you can actually pick, Boston, averaged 127.1 ms.
The plan is still strong value on paper. KVM 1 gives you 4 GB of RAM for USD 6.49, while Bluehost's NVMe 2 gives 2 GB for USD 4.69. That's double the memory for USD 1.80 more. Renewal lands at USD 11.99/mo for another 24 months, a 1.85x jump. On the Brazilian storefront the same plan costs BRL 29.99, renewing at BRL 59.99. Refunds come with a catch: VPS money back only works if you haven't had another VPS refund in the past 180 days.
Pros:
- 4 GB RAM and 50 GB NVMe on the cheapest plan
- Renewal price printed on the card and in the cart
- Free weekly backups and manual snapshots
- 30-day money-back window on VPS
Cons:
- No Brazil location in checkout on 1 October 2026
- Lowest rate needs 24 months paid upfront
- Daily backups cost USD 3/mo extra
Pricing: USD 155.76 covers the first 24 months. After that, KVM 1 renews at USD 11.99/mo for 24 months. KVM 2 (2 vCPU, 8 GB) costs USD 8.99, renewing at USD 14.99.
Best for: buyers who can wait until Brazil reappears in the location menu. Skip if: you need a São Paulo server this week. HostGator Brasil sells one today.
Verdict: Buy Hostinger only if the cart shows Brazil on the day you order. If it shows Boston as the nearest option, buy HostGator Brasil's VPS NVMe 2 or Vultr's São Paulo plan instead.
Verpex - Best for Dedicated Cores on a 12-Month Plan
Entry: USD 10/mo, 12-month prepay | Renews at: USD 19.99/mo | 2 dedicated vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 80 GB NVMe | Mexico City 168.0 ms
Two dedicated cores for USD 10 a month is rare at this price. Verpex's VPS-D4 also brings 4 GB of RAM, 80 GB of NVMe and unlimited traffic. Its own FAQ quotes USD 10/mo on the 12-month intro rate, and its billing system confirms USD 119.94 for the first year. Compare Hostinger's KVM 1 at USD 6.49: it has the same RAM but one shared core and 30 GB less storage.
Location is where Verpex falls behind. Its VPS page lists nine locations: Dallas, New York, Toronto, Mexico City, London, Frankfurt, Mumbai, Singapore and Sydney. Brazil isn't one of them, and archived copies of that page from 2025 and 2026 never mention São Paulo either. Mexico City looks nearest, but our probes reached it in 168.0 ms on average. That made it the second slowest location we measured.
The renewal doubles to USD 19.99/mo, a 2.0x jump. A quirk of the billing table works in your favour, though. Paying one year, then renewing for a second year, costs USD 359.82. Prepaying 24 months upfront costs USD 431.78. Pick the one-year term. Verpex's terms exclude "Servers" from its 30-day money-back guarantee, so treat the VPS as non-refundable.
Pros:
- Dedicated vCPUs, not shared ones
- 80 GB NVMe and unlimited traffic at entry
- Rated 4.7 from 1,701 reviews on Trustpilot
Cons:
- No South American location
- Renewal doubles after year one
- Servers excluded from the refund
Pricing: VPS-D4 costs USD 119.94 for the first 12 months, then USD 19.99/mo. Monthly billing starts at USD 10 for the first month only, then USD 19.99. The plan is unmanaged.
Best for: compute-heavy work where Brazilian latency matters less, such as background jobs or a staging server. Skip if: your visitors are in Brazil. Vultr's São Paulo plan answers in 21.2 ms for USD 5.
Verdict: Verpex sells the best core count per dollar on this list, but not for a Brazilian audience. Buy it for workers and pipelines. For a public site serving Brazil, choose HostGator Brasil.
SmarterASP.NET - Best for Windows and .NET Stacks
Entry: USD 42.46/mo Linux, USD 84.96/mo Windows, 36-month prepay | Renews at: same price, per its checkout | 4 cores, 8 GB RAM, 200 GB | New York, not measured
Say you run an ASP.NET app with SQL Server, and your client is in Curitiba. Almost every cheap VPS here assumes Linux. SmarterASP.NET is the exception. Its Windows VPS SSD 1 Plus gives you 4 cores, 8 GB of RAM and 200 GB. It costs USD 84.96 a month on a 36-month prepay. The Windows licence is included. A Linux version with the same specs costs USD 42.46 on the same term.
Specs are generous for the money. Host2Go's 4 vCPU and 8 GB costs GBP 10.99, but it runs Linux only. For Windows buyers, the comparison that matters is licence plus server, and SmarterASP bundles both. Bandwidth is listed as unlimited. Activity on Trustpilot is thin, though: 4.8 from 4,259 reviews, but only 120 arrived in the last 12 months.
The weak point is distance. SmarterASP lists Germany, New York, Seattle, St. Louis, Singapore, Japan, India, Sydney and the UK. New York is the nearest to Brazil. We didn't measure it. The company publishes no test address, and the servers we found had locations that didn't match its list. Read the refund terms closely. The 60-day guarantee excludes short terms: it doesn't cover 1, 3 and 6-month purchases. Pay for 12 months or more and your first order is covered.
Pros:
- Windows licence included in the price
- 4 cores and 8 GB at the entry tier
- No setup fee, unlimited bandwidth
Cons:
- No South American location
- Lowest rate needs a 36-month prepay
- Guarantee skips short-term purchases
Pricing: Linux 1 costs USD 42.46/mo on 36 months (USD 1,528.47), USD 44.96 on 24 months, and USD 49.95 on 3 to 12 months. Windows VPS SSD 1 Plus costs USD 84.96/mo on 36 months (USD 3,058.47). The checkout says every term renews at the same price. Setup is free, and the terms say fees exclude taxes. Over two years, Linux 1 costs USD 1,078.92.
Best for: .NET developers who need IIS and SQL Server on Windows. Skip if: you run PHP or Node. Vultr's USD 5 São Paulo plan does that job for less than an eighth of the Linux price.
Verdict: Pick SmarterASP.NET only when Windows is a hard requirement. Anyone on Linux should buy HostGator Brasil or Vultr and keep the server in Brazil.
Bluehost - Best for the Smallest Renewal Jump
Entry: USD 4.69/mo, 12-month prepay | Renews at: USD 5.69/mo | 1 vCPU, 2 GB DDR5, 50 GB NVMe | Oracle Ashburn 118.7 ms
Bluehost's VPS runs on Oracle Cloud, and Oracle has a São Paulo region. Bluehost just doesn't sell it. Newfold Digital, which owns both Bluehost and HostGator, publishes the list of regions its VPS checkout uses. São Paulo and Vinhedo both appear on it, but flagged as not available for VPS. The nine you can pick are Ashburn, Phoenix, Amsterdam, London, Frankfurt, Mumbai, Sydney, Singapore and Toronto.
Ashburn is the closest, and it averaged 118.7 ms from our Brazilian probes. That's the best non-Brazil result we measured. It beat Mexico City by almost 50 ms. For an API or a site where Brazil is a minority of traffic, that's workable.
The price is the real draw. NVMe 2 costs USD 4.69/mo on a 12-month term (USD 56.28) or a 24-month term (USD 112.56), and renews at USD 5.69/mo. That's a 1.21x jump, the smallest promo-to-renewal gap on this list. Hosting.com, by contrast, renews at 2.93x. Monthly billing costs USD 4.99 for the first month, then USD 5.99. Note what's missing, too. The plans exclude cPanel and 24/7 priority support, and the 30-day refund covers annual plans. One more catch: HostGator's US storefront sells the same NVMe 2 server for USD 50.16 over 24 months. Bluehost charges USD 112.56.
Pros:
- Renewal only 1.21x the entry price
- DDR5 RAM and NVMe on every tier
- Two years cost USD 112.56 upfront
Cons:
- São Paulo disabled on its Oracle platform
- Only 2 GB RAM at entry
- No cPanel included
Pricing: NVMe 2 is USD 4.69/mo on a 12 or 24-month prepay, then USD 5.69/mo. NVMe 4 (2 vCPU, 4 GB, 100 GB) is USD 9.49, renewing at USD 11.99.
Best for: existing Bluehost customers who want their VPS on the same bill. Skip if: you're shopping on price. HostGator US sells the same Ashburn server for less, and HostGator Brasil runs the platform in São Paulo, at 23.2 ms.
Verdict: Bluehost's renewal is the gentlest here, but its sister brand undercuts it on the same hardware. For a North American audience, buy HostGator US. For Brazil, buy HostGator Brasil.
Hosting.com - Best for a Low Price on a 3-Year Prepay
Entry: USD 6.49/mo, 36-month prepay | Renews at: USD 19/mo | 2 cores, 4 GB RAM, 80 GB | Mexico City network 168.0 ms
Hosting.com (formerly A2 Hosting) and Hostinger both start at USD 6.49, but the deals are not alike. Hosting.com's figure needs 36 months paid upfront, USD 233.65. Hostinger's needs 24 months. In return, Hosting.com's Self Managed Linux 4GB gives you 2 dedicated cores on AMD EPYC and 80 GB, against Hostinger's single core and 50 GB.
The renewal is the steepest on this list. The plan's list price is USD 19/mo, and the billing system says "All discounts apply for the first bill". That's a 2.93x jump when the prepay ends. If you only want two years, the 24-month term costs USD 167.76, or USD 6.99/mo. Hosting.com's terms exclude "Servers" from the 30-day money-back guarantee.
Its VPS locations are London, New York, US West, Canada, Singapore, Sydney, Mexico, Europe, Dubai and Mumbai. There's no Brazil. The FAQ says "Mexico" without naming a city. Hosting.com and Verpex both belong to World Host Group, and we measured the group's Mexico City network at 168.0 ms. That's slower than Oracle's Ashburn region at 118.7 ms. So if you buy Hosting.com for a Brazilian audience, compare New York at checkout. We didn't measure New York for this host.
Pros:
- 2 dedicated cores and 4 GB for USD 6.49
- Ten locations, including Mexico and New York
- Rated 4.8 from 7,185 reviews on Trustpilot
Cons:
- Renewal 2.93x the entry price
- Lowest rate needs 36 months upfront
- No refund on servers
Pricing: USD 233.65 for 36 months, then USD 19/mo. Other first-bill prices: USD 10.99 for one month, USD 107.89 for 12 months, USD 167.76 for 24 months.
Best for: buyers who want three years of dedicated cores and will plan the renewal. Skip if: your visitors are mostly Brazilian. Vultr's USD 5 São Paulo plan stays at USD 5.
Verdict: Hosting.com is a fair three-year deal with a hard landing. For a Brazilian audience, buy HostGator Brasil, whose server sits in São Paulo for a similar monthly price.
Cloudways - Best Managed Server in São Paulo
Entry: USD 14/mo, billed hourly | Renews at: USD 14/mo, no promo | 1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM, 25 GB SSD on Vultr | Vultr São Paulo 21.2 ms
Cloudways is the managed option here that can put your server in Brazil at its entry price. It doesn't own data centers. You pick a cloud, and Cloudways sets up and patches the server, caching and backups for you. Its location list shows São Paulo on Vultr, Linode, AWS and Google Cloud. DigitalOcean, the default tab, has no South American location.
Choose Vultr or Linode and the Micro plan costs USD 14/mo, billed at USD 0.0208 per hour. Our probes reached Vultr's São Paulo region in 21.2 ms on average. AWS starts at USD 20.56 for its Micro tier, and Google Cloud at USD 37.33. One caution: those are the pricing page's figures, and we didn't open a São Paulo quote, so confirm the price in the console.
Management is what you pay for. Vultr sells the same São Paulo machine size directly for USD 5/mo, so Cloudways costs 2.8x Vultr's own price for the same 1 GB. That premium buys server setup, security patches and a support team. Not sure which side you're on? Our guide to managed vs unmanaged VPS lays out what each one leaves to you. There's no money-back guarantee to lean on, but you get a 3-day free trial without a card.
Pros:
- Managed stack on a São Paulo server
- Hourly billing, no contract, no renewal jump
- Four clouds with a São Paulo region
Cons:
- 2.8x the price of the same Vultr server
- Only 1 GB RAM at USD 14
- Regional prices may differ from the pricing page
Pricing: Micro on Vultr or Linode is USD 14/mo. The 2 GB tier is USD 28. Offsite backup storage costs USD 0.033 per GB. Two years at the entry tier cost USD 336.
Best for: WordPress or WooCommerce owners in Brazil who want a managed server and monthly billing. Skip if: you can run Linux yourself. Vultr gives the same São Paulo server for USD 5.
Verdict: Cloudways is the right pick if you want management and a Brazilian server without a contract. Comfortable with a command line? Buy Vultr directly and keep the USD 9 difference.
20i - Best for Unthrottled Bandwidth
Entry: USD 13.99/mo, monthly | Renews at: USD 13.99/mo, no promo published | 1 core, 1 GB RAM, 25 GB SSD | Dallas 141.7 ms
20i's weakness for Brazil is easy to state. Its VPS runs in London, Dallas and Singapore, nothing nearer. Dallas is the closest, and our probes reached it in 141.7 ms on average. That's 23 ms slower than Oracle's Ashburn region, which Bluehost uses for less than half the price.
The value at entry is also thin. USD 13.99 buys 1 core, 1 GB of RAM and 25 GB of SSD, with a 100 Mbps port. Hostinger's KVM 1 gives 4 GB and 50 GB of NVMe for USD 6.49. So you pay more than double for a quarter of the memory. On 20i's UK site the same plan costs GBP 9.99.
The reason to buy is bandwidth. 20i says every VPS has "genuine unlimited bandwidth, no throttling, ever", and each hypervisor connects at 20 Gbps. Reviewers are happy, with a 4.8 from 2,005 reviews on Trustpilot, though only 82 came in the last year. Read the terms before you test it. Clause 7.4.4 excludes VPS from the refund under its 30-day money-back guarantee.
Pros:
- Unlimited, unthrottled bandwidth
- Monthly billing at a flat listed price
- Strong review record
Cons:
- No South American location
- Only 1 GB RAM for USD 13.99
- VPS excluded from the refund
Pricing: 1 Core is USD 13.99/mo and 2 Cores (2 GB, 50 GB) is USD 19.99/mo on the US site. Two years at entry cost USD 335.76.
Best for: file or media delivery to the US and Europe, where bandwidth matters more than RAM. Skip if: your audience is Brazilian. Vultr's São Paulo plan has the same 1 GB for USD 5 and answers in 21.2 ms.
Verdict: 20i is a bandwidth play for audiences far from Brazil. For a Brazilian site, buy Vultr or HostGator Brasil and put the server where the readers are.
HostGator - Best for the Cheapest Local VPS with Portuguese Support
Brasil entry: BRL 20.99/mo, 36-month prepay | Renews at: BRL 34.99/mo, same 3-year cycle | 1 vCPU, 2 GB DDR5, 50 GB NVMe | Oracle São Paulo 23.2 ms
Shopping from Brazil, you'll meet two HostGators. The US site, hostgator.com, sells the same Oracle-based VPS as Bluehost: Snappy 1000 at USD 2.09/mo on a 24-month term, renewing at USD 4.68. HostGator Brasil, based in Florianópolis, sells its VPS on "Servidores Oracle Cloud no Brasil", and its footnote names Oracle's São Paulo data center.
We reached Oracle's São Paulo region in 23.2 ms on average, against 118.7 ms for the Ashburn region the US storefront uses. So the same parent company sells the same platform 95 ms closer under the Brazilian brand. VPS NVMe 2 costs BRL 20.99/mo, which is BRL 755.64 for 3 years paid upfront. It includes a dedicated IP, unlimited transfer, weekly backups and 24/7 support in Portuguese.

The outlined box holds the 3-year total; the struck-through figure is the full undiscounted price for three years. Source: hostgator.com.br/servidor-vps, captured 1 October 2026.[/caption]
Now the renewal, where HostGator Brasil contradicts itself. Its promo note says the regular price is charged on renewal. Its own subscription step says something kinder: the 3-year term renews "com 36% de desconto" at BRL 34.99/mo. That's a 1.67x jump, and by our sums BRL 1,259.64 due in one payment in year four. If the promo note applied instead, you'd owe the struck-through BRL 1,979.28. Screenshot the checkout before you pay.
Pros:
- Server in São Paulo, measured at 23.2 ms
- Billed in reais, with Portuguese support
- 30-day refund window
Cons:
- Lowest price needs 36 months upfront
- Promo note and checkout disagree on renewal
- US storefront is a different product with no Brazil location
Pricing (Brasil): NVMe 2 is BRL 755.64 for 36 months, renewing at BRL 34.99/mo. Shorter terms cost BRL 23.99/mo for 24 months (BRL 575.76, renews at BRL 39.99) and BRL 26.99/mo for 12 months (renews at BRL 44.99). NVMe 4 (2 vCPU, 4 GB) is BRL 30.39/mo and NVMe 8 (4 vCPU, 8 GB) is BRL 45.49/mo, both on 36 months. Pricing (US): USD 2.09/mo for 24 months (USD 50.16), renewing at USD 112.32 per 2 years (USD 4.68/mo, 2.24x). The 12-month term is USD 2.64/mo, renewing at USD 4.95.
Best for: Brazilian businesses that want a local server, local billing and support in Portuguese. Skip if: you won't commit for three years. Vultr bills hourly in São Paulo at USD 5/mo.
Verdict: Buy HostGator from the .com.br storefront, not the US site. It's the cheapest São Paulo VPS with local support on this list. If you need monthly billing, Vultr is the fallback.
GlowHost - Best for a Fully Managed cPanel Cloud Server
Entry: USD 49.95/mo, monthly | Renews at: USD 49.95/mo, no promo published | 2 cores, 2 GB RAM, 20 GB redundant storage | Salt Lake City, not measured
USD 49.95 a month buys GlowHost's Cloud VDS Lite. That's ten times Vultr's São Paulo plan, for 2 GB instead of 1 GB. The money goes on management rather than hardware. GlowHost runs the operating system, firewall and cPanel/WHM with CloudLinux for you, keeps four copies of your storage and takes a nightly snapshot. You still get root access.
Here's the trap for Brazilian buyers. GlowHost's data center page lists São Paulo, Argentina, Chile and Colombia. The same page then says plainly: "Managed Cloud Servers are located in Salt Lake City only." São Paulo is available for dedicated servers, not for the cloud VDS. We found no GlowHost cloud host we could tie to Salt Lake City that answered our probes, so latency is not measured. For reference, VPS.NET's server in the same city averaged 171.1 ms.
Read the contract before you sign. The terms only refund within the published money-back guarantee and don't say it covers Cloud Servers. Cancel at least 10 days before the next invoice, or you risk a USD 75 late termination fee. Review data is too thin to lean on: 11 reviews on Trustpilot, none in the past year.
Pros:
- Fully managed, with cPanel/WHM and CloudLinux included
- Storage kept on four redundant devices
- Free nightly snapshot of the whole server
Cons:
- Cloud servers in Salt Lake City only
- Ten times Vultr's price for 2 GB
- USD 75 fee for late cancellation
Pricing: Cloud VDS Lite is USD 49.95/mo, Medium USD 99.95 and Heavy USD 149.95. Extra RAM costs USD 29/mo per GB. Two years at entry cost USD 1,198.80.
Best for: US-focused cPanel users who want someone else to run the server. Skip if: you need management in Brazil. Cloudways manages a Vultr São Paulo server for USD 14.
Verdict: GlowHost is a premium managed product in the wrong city for this audience. Brazilian buyers who want hands-off hosting should choose Cloudways.
Host2Go - Best for 8 GB RAM at a Flat Price
Entry: GBP 10.99/mo, monthly | Renews at: GBP 10.99/mo, no promo | 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, 100 GB SSD | US East, not measured
Host2Go's São Paulo listing isn't a VPS location. "Sao Paulo, Brazil" appears on its server locations page, but under the heading for its StackCP global CDN. That's a cache network for its shared hosting. The Self-Managed VPS order form offers the EU, the UK, three US regions, India, Japan, Singapore and Sydney. US East is the nearest to Brazil.
What you do get is a lot of memory for the price. Self-Managed VPS 4 has 4 vCPU, 8 GB of RAM and 100 GB of SSD for GBP 10.99/mo. Hostinger needs USD 8.99 for 8 GB on KVM 2, and only on a 24-month prepay. Host2Go's price is flat, with no discount fields in its billing system, so month 25 costs the same as month one. A 12-month term is GBP 131.88, exactly twelve months' worth.
We didn't measure latency. Host2Go says its VPS runs on Google Cloud, AWS, DigitalOcean, Linode and Contabo, but it doesn't say which one serves "United States (East)". Its refund policy is clear, and not in your favour: VPS servers are excluded from the 30-day guarantee. Reviews are few, with 51 on Trustpilot and 12 in the past year.
Pros:
- 8 GB RAM and 4 vCPU for GBP 10.99
- Flat price, no renewal jump
- Monthly billing
Cons:
- No Brazil location for VPS
- Upstream cloud per location not disclosed
- No refund on VPS
Pricing: Self-Managed VPS 4 is GBP 10.99/mo, VPS 6 (12 GB) GBP 16.49 and VPS 8 (24 GB) GBP 27.49. Two years at entry cost GBP 263.76.
Best for: memory-hungry apps for a US or European audience on a flat monthly bill. Skip if: you need a server in Brazil. HostGator Brasil and Vultr both sell one.
Verdict: Host2Go is a RAM bargain with blind spots on location and refunds. Buy it for a database or app server outside Brazil, and buy Vultr for anything public-facing in Brazil.
VPS.NET - Best for Existing Customers Only
Entry: GBP 4.95/mo, monthly | Renews at: "then standard fee", per its contract | 1 core, 0.5 GB RAM, 25 GB SSD | Salt Lake City 171.1 ms
VPS.NET moved its Atlanta SSD VPS customers to Salt Lake City on 17-18 August 2026, so its nearest server to Brazil is now in Utah. The move is on its own status page, notice 417. Earlier notices moved two New York platforms to Salt Lake City in July and Frankfurt to London. Today's order form offers only London and Salt Lake City.
Our probes reached VPS.NET's published Salt Lake City test address in 171.1 ms on average. That's the slowest result we measured, and eight times the 21.2 ms of Vultr's São Paulo region. The status page also logged a power fault at Salt Lake City on 21 July 2026, lasting almost six hours.
The plan is small. V1-19 gives 1 core, 0.5 GB of RAM and 25 GB of SSD for GBP 4.95/mo. Vultr gives twice the RAM for USD 5 in São Paulo. The offer text says RAM and disk are doubled on new SSD orders, so check your control panel after ordering. The contract is blunt: "Fees are not refundable", and renewals are set to "our then standard fee". Trustpilot shows 3.8 from 429 reviews, but only 19 in the last year.
Pros:
- Low monthly price, no long term
- Published test addresses for both locations
Cons:
- Atlanta closed in August 2026
- Only 0.5 GB RAM at entry
- No refunds under its contract
Pricing: V1-19 is GBP 4.95/mo and V2-19 (1 GB, 50 GB) GBP 9.90/mo. cPanel adds GBP 18.50/mo. Two years at entry cost GBP 118.80.
Best for: current customers already running in Salt Lake City or London. Skip if: you're starting fresh for a Brazilian audience. Vultr is cheaper per GB and 150 ms closer.
Verdict: Don't start a Brazilian project on VPS.NET in 2026. Buy Vultr for the same money and a server in São Paulo.
Vultr - Best for the Cheapest São Paulo VPS with No Contract
Entry: USD 5/mo, billed hourly | Renews at: USD 5/mo, no promo | 1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM, 25 GB, 1 TB transfer | São Paulo 21.2 ms
Vultr is the simplest answer on this list. It runs a São Paulo region, and the cheapest plan sold there is vc2-1c-1gb. For USD 5/mo you get 1 vCPU, 1 GB of RAM, 25 GB of storage and 1 TB of transfer. Billing is hourly. Because there's no promo price, there's no renewal jump. Our probes reached its São Paulo looking-glass server in 21.2 ms on average.
Against the other local options, it's the cheapest way to start. HostGator Brasil's NVMe 2 has twice the RAM at BRL 20.99/mo, but locks you in for 36 months. Two years of Vultr cost USD 120.00. Cloudways puts the same Vultr server behind a managed panel for USD 14/mo. Brazilian developers on Reddit mention Vultr often for this region, and one noted the obvious drawback: you pay in dollars.
Two cautions. Vultr says some locations price differently, and the control panel shows the regional price, so confirm the USD 5 there before you deploy. Its Trustpilot score is 1.6 from 587 reviews, and the newest ones were all posted unprompted rather than invited. Read them before you commit. Also, it's fully unmanaged: you install and patch everything yourself.
Pros:
- São Paulo region at USD 5/mo
- Hourly billing, no contract, no renewal jump
- Same server Cloudways resells for USD 14
Cons:
- Billed in USD, not reais
- Trustpilot score of 1.6
- Regional price must be checked in the console
Pricing: vc2-1c-1gb is USD 5/mo and vc2-1c-2gb (2 GB, 55 GB) is USD 10/mo, per Vultr's public plan list. Billing stops when you delete the server.
Best for: developers who want a São Paulo server today without a contract. Skip if: you want support in Portuguese and billing in reais. HostGator Brasil gives you both.
Verdict: Vultr is the best cheap VPS for Brazil if you can run Linux yourself. If you can't, pay Cloudways to run the same server.
I don’t know about Hostinger but I don’t think it should be on first place. For 5 years to now I’m using LocaWeb and I personally think that it’s better than Hostinger especially for Brazil.
As a webdesigner I work with many hosting providers. For WordPress there are only a few hosting services I could recommend. And A2 is one of them as it provides plenty of convenient options to get your site up and running.
Hello,
Currently, I am using one website via Windows shared hosting plan. The number of my website visitors steadily grows but this causes frequent “Service Unavailable” error messages. That’s why i am planning to move to Windows VPS now. Could you please suggest the best Windows VPS Hosting Provider?
Thanks
