Hostinger - Best for Buying a VPS in the Live 2026 Sale
Black Friday 2025: KVM 1 USD 4.99/mo on 24 months | Today: USD 6.49/mo on 24 months | Renews: USD 11.99/mo
USD 1.50 a month. That's the gap between Hostinger's 2026 sale price for KVM 1 and what the plan cost through Black Friday 2025. Hostinger's Black Friday 2026 sale runs from 19 October to 14 December 2026, according to its own Black Friday page.
KVM 1 cost USD 4.99 on 24 months in October 2024 and October 2025, and again in both Cyber Week banners. The step up came between 18 February and 7 March 2026. KVM 1 moved to USD 6.49, and its renewal from USD 9.99 to USD 11.99. Our Hostinger review recorded the same USD 6.49 on 30 September, so this year's sale takes nothing off.
KVM 2 is where the sale used to bite. In both 2024 and 2025 it fell from USD 6.99 to USD 5.99 on 24 months, a 14.3% cut. Today it's USD 8.79, USD 0.20 under its 30 September price. On KVM 1, the coupons page's code COUPONSPAGE (verified October 2026, codes change) took our 24-month cart to USD 147.97. That's USD 7.79 under the sale total.
Still running an OpenVZ VPS (an older container type) bought before 18 April 2023? Hostinger removes those servers and their data on 14 December 2026, the day this sale ends. On 12 months, KVM 1 costs USD 6.99 against USD 19.95 for ScalaHosting's 4 GB Config #1, 65% less.
- Pro: 1 vCPU (virtual core), 4 GB of RAM and a 50 GB NVMe (fast SSD) disk in a live sale
- Pro: the coupons page beats the sale by USD 7.79 over 24 months
- Pro: a 30-day refund on KVM VPS plans
- Con: the entry plan wasn't cut in 2024 or 2025
- Con: refunds work once per 180 days, and VPS licences are never refunded
Pricing: KVM 1 is USD 6.49/mo on 24 months (USD 155.76 upfront), USD 6.99 on 12 months and USD 9.99 for one month. Those terms renew at USD 11.99, 12.99 and 19.49. The cart adds tax by location.
Best for: a self-managed 4 GB server bought before November. Skip if: you want management; KVM plans leave the server to you.
Verdict: Buy KVM 1 through the coupons page if you need a 4 GB VPS this autumn. Don't wait for 27 November expecting a deeper cut, since none came in 2024 or 2025. If you'd rather have the server managed, ScalaHosting's Build #1 is USD 22.46 in its own live sale.

HostArmada - Best for a Cheap Self-Managed VPS Outside the US
Black Friday 2025: Spark USD 3.69/mo on 12 months (unchanged) | Today: USD 3.69/mo on 12 months | Renews: USD 8.20/mo
Say you need a small Linux server in London or Singapore for one year, and you can run it yourself. HostArmada's Spark costs USD 44.28 for that year: one core and 1 GB of RAM on a 40 GB NVMe disk. Waiting for Black Friday won't lower it.
The archived copies show why. Every copy of the Spark page from 27 October 2025, the earliest, to 23 January 2026 shows USD 3.69. That includes 5 December, under a "Black Friday Deals" bar. HostArmada's sale codes appeared on its other pages between 18 and 26 November, and were still live on 8 December.
The managed line moved a little. Web Shuttle, with 1 core and 2 GB, cost USD 29.95 for its first month in every copy from October 2024 to today. Its quarterly rate fell from USD 44.93 to USD 38.94 a month in the 2025 sale. That 13.3% cut outlasted the sale.
Two lines in the fine print matter more than the sale. Adding cPanel, the most common hosting control panel, turned our USD 44.28 Spark year into USD 281.76 in the cart. And the terms delete all VPS data if a renewal isn't paid within 24 hours of its due date.
RackNerd's year-round 1 GB plan is cheaper, at USD 21.99 a year, but its cart offers only US locations. Over two years, Spark costs USD 142.68, against USD 132.49 for Ultahost's 1 GB VPS.
- Pro: USD 3.69/mo for a year on NVMe, with a dedicated IPv4 included
- Pro: free CyberPanel or aaPanel, plus one free monthly backup
- Pro: nine locations in the cart, including London, Mumbai and Sydney
- Con: no Black Friday cut on Spark, and a 7-day VPS refund window
- Con: cPanel adds USD 237.48 a year, more than five times the server
Pricing: Spark is USD 3.69/mo on 12 months, then USD 8.20/mo (USD 98.40 a year). Monthly billing is USD 8.40 for month one, then USD 9.88. The 24-month term costs USD 7.38/mo. Web Shuttle costs USD 29.95 in month one and USD 59.90 after.
Best for: a one-year server in Europe, Asia or Australia. Skip if: you'll keep it past year one; Ultahost's price doesn't rise at renewal.
Verdict: Buy Spark now rather than on Black Friday, because its 2025 sale price was its normal price. For two years or more, Ultahost's 1 GB VPS works out cheaper.

Verpex - Best for Dedicated vCPUs on a 12-Month Term
Black Friday 2025: VPS-D4 USD 4.99/mo on 12 months (unchanged) | Today: USD 10.00/mo on 12 months | Renews: USD 19.99/mo
Verpex's Black Friday 2025 price for VPS-D4 was the price it already charged. Three weeks after Black Friday, it doubled.
On 15 October and 29 November 2025, archived copies of the VPS page showed the same card. Its 12-month price was USD 4.99 a month with a USD 9.99 renewal, and a first month cost USD 7.19. A "BLACK FRIDAY" banner went up in late November. The coupon on the order buttons, Servers-sale, was October's.
Black Friday 2024 ran the same way. The 4 GB plan was then called Linux Server-D4 and included cPanel. It cost USD 15.00/mo on 12 months on 5 October and 11 November 2024 alike, renewing at USD 30.00. Only the first month moved, from USD 18.00 to USD 15.00.
Then came the jump. Verpex's own price data dates VPS-D4's current prices to 18 December 2025, and a 2 January 2026 copy shows the new card. That's USD 10.00 on 12 months, renewing at USD 19.99. The 2025 cards also promised a "7 Day Money Back Guarantee". Verpex's terms, though, exclude servers from its money-back guarantee, and licence add-ons are "final and non-refundable".
For 4 GB, VPS-D4's first year now costs USD 119.94 against USD 83.88 for Hostinger's KVM 1. Verpex gives two dedicated vCPUs to Hostinger's one.
- Pro: 2 dedicated vCPUs with 4 GB of RAM and an 80 GB NVMe disk
- Pro: unlimited traffic, with optional cPanel and a managed version
- Pro: a USD 10.00 first month to test before committing
- Con: neither of the last two sales cut the 12-month price
- Con: no refund on servers, despite the old cards
Pricing: VPS-D4 costs USD 119.94 for the first 12 months, then USD 239.88 a year. Month to month, it's USD 10.00 for month one, then USD 19.99. The 24-month term is USD 431.78, then USD 479.76. Only new clients get the discount, and only on the first invoice.
Best for: a 4 GB server where dedicated vCPUs matter more than price. Skip if: you need a way out; servers can't be refunded.
Verdict: Buy VPS-D4 only for its dedicated vCPUs, and don't hold out for November. Its last two sales left the 12-month price alone. For 4 GB at a lower first-year bill, Hostinger's KVM 1 costs USD 83.88 for a 12-month term.

ScalaHosting - Best for a Black Friday Cut That Was Real
Black Friday 2025: Config #1 USD 9.98/mo and Build #1 USD 14.98/mo, 12 months | Today: USD 19.95 and USD 22.46 | Renews: USD 24.95 and USD 54.95
ScalaHosting is the only host here that halved a VPS price for Black Friday 2025. It did so on both VPS lines, in a promotion its blog dated 30 October to 1 December.
Its self-managed Config #1 pairs 2 cores and 4 GB of RAM with a 50 GB NVMe disk. On 6 October 2025 it cost USD 19.95/mo on 12 months. On 7 and 27 November it cost USD 9.98, renewing at USD 24.95. The card said "60% OFF", measured from the renewal price. Measured from the normal price, buyers paid half.
The managed Build #1 has the same 2 cores and 4 GB. It repeated its 2024 deal: USD 14.98/mo on 12 months, against USD 29.95 on 16 October 2025.
The 2026 sale has started on the managed plan only. A Black Friday label appeared on Build #1 between 13 and 20 October 2026, at USD 22.46 on 12 months. Its price data shows 25% off that term only. Config #1 still reads USD 19.95.
A year of Build #1 at the live sale price costs USD 269.52, against USD 659.40 for ChemiCloud's managed 4 GB Cloud 1. A 5-account cPanel licence is a USD 32.95 add-on, while SPanel, ScalaHosting's own panel, is free.
- Pro: real 50% cuts in both 2024 and 2025
- Pro: 30-day full refund for new clients, then partial refunds
- Pro: free SPanel, snapshots and a dedicated IP on the self-managed plan
- Con: the 2026 cut so far is 25%, on 12 months only
- Con: Build #1 renews at USD 54.95, up from USD 49.95 in January 2026
Pricing: Config #1 is USD 19.95/mo on 12 months and USD 24.95 on 6 or 1 month, renewing at USD 24.95. Build #1 runs USD 22.46 on 12 months in the sale; 36 months cost USD 29.95, and month to month USD 54.95. Every Build #1 term renews at USD 54.95.
Best for: buyers who can wait for a sale and prepay one year. Skip if: you'll prepay 36 months; that term gets no sale price.
Verdict: It's the clearest case on this page for waiting. Both VPS lines fell by half in each of the last two sales, and the self-managed plan hasn't been cut yet this year. Need a server this week? Hostinger's KVM 1 is USD 6.99 for a year.

Ultahost - Best for a VPS Price That Holds at Renewal
Black Friday 2025: VPS Basic USD 4.80/mo on 24 months (unchanged) | Today: USD 5.52/mo on 24 months | Renews: USD 5.52/mo
Ultahost's best Black Friday VPS deal is the one it runs all year. VPS Basic has 1 core, 1 GB of DDR5 and 30 GB of NVMe. It cost USD 4.80/mo on 24 months before, during and after the 2025 sale.
What changed was the struck-through price. On 3 November 2025 the card read USD 7.99, "Save 40%". By 27 November it read USD 23.99, "Save 80%", above the same USD 4.80. By late January 2026 it was back to USD 7.99. Copies from November 2024 show USD 4.80 too.
The cart's recurring total equals the first bill: USD 132.49 every 24 months, with no setup fee. Prices did rise on 1 August 2026, by Ultahost's own pricing post, which pointed to memory costs. VPS Basic went from USD 4.80 to USD 5.52 on 24 months.
The trap is in the refund page instead. Ultahost gives VPS plans 30 days, then adds that "refunds are not available when canceling a yearly or biennial or triennial VPS hosting plan". Yet the VPS page opens on the 24-month option, beside "Free 30-Days Money-Back". Our Ultahost review found the same two-year default on its shared plans. And cPanel Solo adds USD 360.00 to a 24-month order.
Over two years, Hostinger's KVM 1 costs USD 155.76, just USD 23.27 more for four times the RAM. After that, Hostinger renews at USD 11.99 while Ultahost stays at USD 5.52.
- Pro: the price you start at is the price you renew at
- Pro: 27 locations in the cart, including Seoul, Johannesburg and São Paulo
- Pro: no setup fee, and free Hestia or CyberPanel
- Con: no refund on yearly, two-year or three-year terms
- Con: the struck-through price tripled for the sale
Pricing: VPS Basic is USD 6.89 monthly, USD 75.99 a year, USD 132.49 for 24 months and USD 165.29 for 36 months. Each term renews at the same amount.
Best for: a small VPS you'll keep for years at one price. Skip if: you want a refund option on a long term.
Verdict: Buy Ultahost whenever you need it, because Black Friday hasn't changed its price in two years. Pick the 36-month term only if you're sure, since it can't be refunded. If you want a refund option on a long prepay, ScalaHosting gives 30 days in full and partial refunds after.

Kamatera - Best for Hourly Billing With No Prepay
Black Friday 2025: no offer | Today: USD 4/mo, monthly or hourly | Renews: USD 4/mo
Every other host here at least hung a Black Friday banner. We found none at Kamatera. Its archived homepage copies from November and early December, in both 2024 and 2025, mention neither Black Friday nor Cyber Monday. Its own sitemaps list no deals page either. An offer sent only by email or through partners wouldn't show up there.
All year, it sells a USD 4 server: 1 vCPU, 1 GB of RAM, 20 GB of NVMe and 5 TB of traffic. You pay by the month or by the hour, with no term. The standing offer is a 30-day trial worth up to USD 100, which needs a valid card.
Read the trial clause before you sign up. Kamatera's terms say services become chargeable when the trial ends unless you terminate every server. A Reddit user who forgot reported about USD 100 billed in February 2026. Cancelling mid-month doesn't stop that month's charge either, because termination takes effect at the end of the billing cycle.
The terms also let Kamatera change prices "at any time", effective immediately, even on long prepaid terms. On the plus side, there's nothing to wait for. Against Ultahost's 1 GB VPS at USD 6.89 month to month, Kamatera's USD 4 is USD 2.89 cheaper with no lock-in.
- Pro: USD 4 a month with no prepay and hourly billing
- Pro: a 30-day trial worth up to USD 100
- Pro: you pick CPU type, RAM and storage separately
- Con: no Black Friday deal in either of the last two years
- Con: the trial bills automatically if you forget to delete the server
Pricing: the Basic server is USD 4/mo. A 2-vCPU general-purpose server with 2 GB is USD 25, and with 4 GB USD 39. Extra storage costs USD 0.05 per GB a month, and cPanel or Plesk are paid add-ons.
Best for: short projects and testing, billed by the hour. Skip if: you're hunting a Black Friday price; Kamatera has none on record.
Verdict: Use Kamatera when you need a server for days or weeks, and set a reminder before the trial ends. Don't wait for November, because it hasn't run a sale in two years. For a year at the lowest bill, RackNerd's 1 GB plan costs USD 21.99.
Where a 2026 deal would appear: the kamatera.com homepage and its free-trial page. Nothing in its record suggests one.

ChemiCloud - Best for a Fully Managed cPanel VPS on Short Terms
Black Friday 2025: Cloud 1 USD 29.95, first month (unchanged) | Today: USD 32.95, first month | Renews: USD 59.95/mo
USD 82.80 a month. That's what ChemiCloud's cart was set to bill for its entry VPS on 20 October 2026, before we changed anything.
Cloud 1 itself has 2 CPUs, 4 GB of memory and an 80 GB NVMe disk, fully managed with cPanel Solo included. It lists at USD 59.95 after a first month at USD 32.95. The cart also pre-selected Imunify360, offsite backups and MailChannels, worth USD 22.85 a month together. Imunify360 and MailChannels sit on the list of add-ons ChemiCloud's money-back guarantee doesn't cover.
Black Friday never touched Cloud 1. Its first month cost USD 29.95, regular USD 54.95, in every copy from October 2024 to July 2026. That includes 30 November 2025, under a site-wide "Save Up to 84%" banner. Between 29 July and 12 August 2026, both prices rose by USD 3.00 and USD 5.00.
The VPS page promises a 7-day money-back guarantee, which matches the terms. The checkout sidebar says 45 days, which the terms reserve for shared, reseller and WordPress plans. Against ScalaHosting's managed Build #1, which renews at USD 54.95 for 2 cores and 4 GB, Cloud 1's regular USD 59.95 is USD 5.00 more.
- Pro: fully managed, with a cPanel Solo licence included
- Pro: 13 locations, including Toronto, Tokyo and Stockholm
- Pro: the 3-month term keeps the USD 32.95 rate for all three months
- Con: three paid add-ons are ticked by default
- Con: no Black Friday cut on VPS in 2024 or 2025, and a 7-day refund
Pricing: Cloud 1 is USD 32.95 for one month or USD 98.85 for three, then USD 59.95/mo. On 12 months it's USD 659.40 a year, with no renewal jump. cPanel Admin for up to 5 accounts adds USD 19.95.
Best for: a managed cPanel server for a quarter, with the add-ons removed. Skip if: you want a sale price; ChemiCloud keeps those for shared hosting.
Verdict: Buy Cloud 1 at any time of year on the 3-month term, and untick the three add-ons first. For a managed 4 GB server on 12 months, ScalaHosting's live sale price costs USD 389.88 less for the year.

RackNerd - Best for the Cheapest Year of VPS on Black Friday
Black Friday 2025: 1 GB sale plan USD 10.60/yr | Today: 1 GB year-round plan USD 21.99/yr | Renews: USD 21.99/yr
RackNerd builds its cheapest VPS plans for Black Friday itself. Its 2025 sale page, live by 17 November, listed five KVM plans billed yearly. The 1 GB plan cost USD 10.60 a year. The 4 GB plan cost USD 29.98, with 3 vCPUs and 65 GB of SSD.
The page still showed those plans on 14 January 2026. The 2024 lineup started at USD 10.99 a year. A buyer on Reddit quoted the same USD 10.60 starting price in November 2025, which matches RackNerd's own page.
Those plans existed only during the sale, so they have no normal price. On 26 October 2025, the nearest year-round plan was a 1 GB plan at USD 10.96 a year. It had 20 GB of SSD to the sale plan's 25 GB, on the same yearly term.
The bigger change came later. That year-round 1 GB plan now costs USD 21.99, double its October 2025 price, a rise first visible on 23 April 2026. It now includes 3 TB of transfer a month, not 2 TB.
RackNerd's specials page says its year-round plans renew at the same rate for life. The 2025 sale page stated no renewal rate, and those plans now show "Out of Stock". Refunds aren't automatic: by default, none is given once payment is received. Today's 4 GB plan at USD 59.99 a year costs 28.5% less than Hostinger's KVM 1 on 12 months, USD 83.88.
- Pro: the lowest yearly VPS prices on this page
- Pro: year-round plans renew at the price you paid
- Pro: no setup fee and one IPv4 address included
- Con: no refund by default
- Con: five locations in the cart, all of them in the US
Pricing: year-round plans cost USD 21.99 a year for 1 GB, USD 35.99 for 2 GB and USD 59.99 for 4 GB. The 8 GB plan is USD 119.99. For the 1 GB plan, two years cost exactly twice one year. The cart showed setup fees of USD 0.00.
Best for: technical users who want a cheap Linux box for a year. Skip if: you need support or a refund; Kamatera's trial lets you test first.
Verdict: Wait for RackNerd's 2026 sale page if you want a cheap 1 GB server for a year. If the 2025 lineup returns, USD 10.60 would be the cheapest year of VPS on this page. If you need support, ChemiCloud's managed Cloud 1 starts at USD 32.95.

Netcup - Best for 8 GB of RAM From a European Host
Black Friday 2025: VPS 1000 G12 Pro EUR 6.84/mo, 3-month contract | Today: VPS 1000 G12.5 EUR 14.50/mo on 12 months | Renews: same price (incl. 19% VAT)
Netcup's Black Friday 2025 VPS deals came with a "permanent price". Netcup raised prices for existing VPS contracts by 18.51% from 1 May 2026, according to its own price notice. New orders had already gone up 24.33% from 19 March 2026.
The notice lists no exception for sale contracts, and the sale FAQ had allowed "an exception for necessary general price increases".
Its Black Week ran from 24 to 28 November 2025, with VPS deals midweek and again on Black Friday. VPS 1000 G12 Pro cost EUR 6.84 a month, including 19% German VAT. That bought 4 vCores, 8 GB of DDR5 and 512 GB of NVMe, plus the first month free on a 3-month contract.
The G12 Pro was sold only in the sale, so it has no normal price. The nearest year-round plan, the older VPS 1000 G11, was listed from the same EUR 6.84 a month with 256 GB of SSD.
A second round in September 2026 hit new orders only. Today's VPS 1000 G12.5 keeps 4 vCores and 8 GB, with 128 GB of SSD in place of 512 GB of NVMe. It costs EUR 14.50 a month on a 12-month contract, where the sale plan ran 3 months. For the same 8 GB, Hostinger's KVM 2 gives 2 vCPUs to Netcup's 4.
- Pro: 4 vCores and 8 GB on every VPS 1000 generation
- Pro: no setup fee, with IPv4 and IPv6 included
- Pro: a free European location in Austria, Germany or the Netherlands, picked by Netcup
- Con: VPS plans exclude Netcup's satisfaction guarantee
- Con: a "permanent" 2025 sale price still rose 18.51%
- Con: picking a specific location, including Manassas in the US, adds EUR 1.86 a month
Pricing: VPS 1000 G12.5 costs EUR 16.68 a month on a 1-month contract and EUR 14.50 on 12 months, including 19% VAT. Netcup shows VAT by the buyer's country. The 24-month term is billed upfront, and traffic slows to 200 Mbps if a day's average passes 2 TB.
Best for: European projects that need 8 GB of RAM. Skip if: you want a refund window or US hosting at the base price.
Verdict: Watch Netcup's Black Week if you want 8 GB in Europe, but read "permanent" as "until the next general increase". If you'd rather pay in dollars with a refund window, Hostinger's 8 GB KVM 2 is USD 8.79 in its live sale.

The seven hosts from our earlier list stay, plus two Black Friday VPS regulars (our selection method).
How We Selected These Providers
Nine providers made the list. All seven hosts from the old version of this page remain, in their original order, because all of them still sell VPS plans. We added RackNerd and Netcup. Buyers in a November 2025 Reddit thread on Black Friday VPS deals named both. Both also publish their own Black Friday VPS pages, archived for 2024 and 2025. Liquid Web, Contabo and OVHcloud were considered and left out, because our cloud deals page already tracks their VPS plans.
For each host we tracked the entry VPS: the cheapest self-managed or managed VPS it sells. Where a host sells both lines prominently, as ScalaHosting and HostArmada do, we tracked both.
A "normal price" is the same plan, on the same term, on the last archived copy before a Black Friday banner appeared. The "real cut" is the sale price against that. A plan sold only in the sale, as at RackNerd and Netcup, has no normal price. For those, we describe the nearest year-round plan in words and show no cut.
The record comes from the providers' live pages and carts, read on 20 October 2026, and from archived copies. We used the Wayback Machine for most hosts. Hostinger blocks it, so we read Common Crawl, a public web archive, instead.
We quote USD from each host's US or global storefront. Netcup sells in euros, and we quote its prices with 19% German VAT as its page shows them. Carts were opened wherever they listed prices ahead of any personal-details form. ScalaHosting's didn't, so we used its plan cards and page price data.
Our method has limits. Each archived copy is a single moment, and a price may have changed between two copies. We bought no servers and ran no benchmarks or load tests. Reddit posts counted as buyer reports; prices came only from the providers' own pages and carts.
Did the 2025 Sale Beat Each Plan's Normal Price?
For most entry VPS plans, no. Each row sets a plan's 2025 sale price beside what the same plan cost before the sale. RackNerd and Netcup sold plans made only for the sale, so their rows show no normal price.
| Provider | Plan, term | Normal price | Black Friday 2025 price | Real cut |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hostinger | KVM 1, 24 months | USD 4.99 (9 Oct 2025) | USD 4.99 (8 Dec 2025) | 0% |
| HostArmada | Spark, 12 months | USD 3.69 (31 Oct 2025) | USD 3.69 (5 Dec 2025) | 0% |
| Verpex | VPS-D4, 12-month term | USD 4.99 (15 Oct 2025) | USD 4.99 (29 Nov 2025) | 0% |
| ScalaHosting | Config #1, 12 months | USD 19.95 (6 Oct 2025) | USD 9.98 (7 Nov 2025) | 50% |
| Ultahost | VPS Basic, 24 months | USD 4.80 (3 Nov 2025) | USD 4.80 (27 Nov 2025) | 0% |
| Kamatera | Basic, monthly | Not in archived copies | No offer | None offered |
| ChemiCloud | Cloud 1, first month | USD 29.95 (6 Nov 2025) | USD 29.95 (30 Nov 2025) | 0% |
| RackNerd | 1 GB sale plan, 12 months | None (sale-only plan) | USD 10.60 (17 Nov 2025) | No normal price |
| Netcup | VPS 1000 G12 Pro, 3 months | None (sale-only plan) | EUR 6.84 (28 Nov 2025) | No normal price |
Six of the nine took nothing off their entry VPS price, counting Kamatera, where we found no Black Friday offer. ScalaHosting had the only cut we could measure, and its managed Build #1 fell by half too.
RackNerd and Netcup sold plans made for the sale, so there's no cut to measure. Their nearest year-round plans had less storage. Netcup's had 256 GB from EUR 6.84 a month, and RackNerd's 20 GB for USD 10.96 a year.
Two plans did better than their entry siblings. Hostinger's KVM 2 fell from USD 6.99 to USD 5.99 on 24 months. HostArmada's Web Shuttle quarterly rate fell from USD 44.93 to USD 38.94. Neither is the cheapest plan its host sells, though, which is where most buyers look.
The Fine Print on Black Friday VPS Deals
Black Friday VPS offers keep their extra costs in the terms and the cart, not on the banner. Here's what turned up in both.
Refunds that skip VPS: Verpex excludes servers from its money-back guarantee. Ultahost refunds no yearly or longer VPS plan, and no promo-code purchase. HostArmada and ChemiCloud give VPS plans 7 days, against 45 for shared hosting. RackNerd gives no refund by default, and Netcup's VPS plans exclude its satisfaction guarantee. Hostinger allows 30 days, once per 180 days.
Inflated struck prices: Ultahost's VPS Basic card showed USD 7.99 struck through in early November 2025, then USD 23.99 by 27 November. The price you paid was USD 4.80 both times.
Panel licences: In HostArmada's cart, cPanel added USD 237.48 to a USD 44.28 year of Spark. Ultahost charges USD 360.00 for cPanel Solo on a USD 132.49 two-year plan. ChemiCloud includes cPanel Solo, and ScalaHosting's SPanel is free. Hostinger, Verpex, ScalaHosting, Ultahost and ChemiCloud all exclude panel licences from refunds.
Pre-ticked add-ons: ChemiCloud's cart pre-selected three paid extras on Cloud 1. Its order summary's "Total Recurring" line read USD 82.80 a month, not USD 59.95, and at least two of the extras can't be refunded.
Managed or not: HostArmada's Spark leaves everything inside the server to you, and sells technical help there as a paid add-on. Hostinger's KVM plans give you root access and expect you to run the server. ChemiCloud's Cloud 1 and ScalaHosting's Build #1 are managed. Check which kind you're buying before comparing prices.
Deletion and silent billing: HostArmada deletes a VPS's data 24 hours after an unpaid due date. Kamatera's trial turns into a bill unless you delete the server. Netcup charges EUR 1.86 a month to choose a location, including its US one.
Why 2026 VPS Prices Start Higher
Several hosts raised VPS prices after Black Friday 2025 by more than any sale cut. Both hosts that gave a reason blamed hardware costs, and Ultahost named memory.
Ultahost's pricing post pointed to server-grade DDR5 memory jumping "nearly 300%". Netcup cited "drastically increased costs for hardware and infrastructure" in March 2026, then raised new-order prices again in September. The others gave no reason we could find.
On the plans tracked here, the changes look like this. RackNerd's year-round 1 GB plan went from USD 10.96 to USD 21.99 a year (+100.6%), with 3 TB of transfer instead of 2 TB. Verpex's VPS-D4 went from USD 4.99 to USD 10.00 on 12 months (+100.4%).
The smaller rises came in the same direction. Hostinger's KVM 1 went from USD 4.99 to USD 6.49 (+30.1%), and Ultahost's VPS Basic from USD 4.80 to USD 5.52 (+15.0%). ChemiCloud's Cloud 1 first month went from USD 29.95 to USD 32.95 (+10.0%).
For Netcup, the chart shows the rise it announced. Existing VPS contracts, 2025 sale deals included, rose 18.51% from 1 May 2026, and new orders 24.33% from 19 March. Today's VPS 1000 G12.5 is a different plan, with less storage and a 12-month term, so we set no percentage against the sale price.
HostArmada's Spark and ScalaHosting's entry prices didn't move. ScalaHosting's Build #1 renewal did rise by USD 5.00, to USD 54.95, in the two weeks from 6 to 20 January 2026. Our ScalaHosting review covers what that renewal buys. Kamatera is left out, because its 2025 prices don't show in archived copies of its calculator. So the 2026 Black Friday price you'll see may beat this October's price and still cost more than last year's.
How to Choose a Black Friday VPS Deal
Start from how long you'll keep the server and whether you'll run it yourself. The calendar matters less than the term.
Self-managed, 4 GB, need it before November, budget under USD 7/mo? Choose Hostinger KVM 1 through the coupons page, at USD 6.17/mo on 24 months. Skip Verpex here, whose 4 GB plan costs USD 119.94 for its first year.
Can wait until late November and want a managed 4 GB server? Watch ScalaHosting. Build #1 fell to USD 14.98 on 12 months in both 2024 and 2025, and it's USD 22.46 already. ChemiCloud's managed Cloud 1 costs USD 659.40 a year and wasn't cut in either sale.
One Linux server for one year, under USD 50 in total? In the US, choose RackNerd's 1 GB plan at USD 21.99, or watch its sale page for a repeat of USD 10.60. Outside the US, choose HostArmada's Spark at USD 44.28. Keep it two years or more, and Ultahost's flat USD 132.49 for 24 months beats Spark.
Testing for a few days or weeks? Choose Kamatera at USD 4 a month, billed hourly, and delete the server before the trial ends. Skip annual prepays here; Ultahost and Verpex won't refund them.
8 GB of RAM in Europe on a long contract? Netcup's VPS 1000 G12.5 is EUR 14.50 a month on 12 months, incl. 19% VAT. Budget for another general increase, since the 2025 "permanent" price rose 18.51%.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it worth waiting for Black Friday to buy a VPS?
Only at a few hosts. ScalaHosting halved its VPS prices in both 2024 and 2025, and RackNerd launches cheap plans just for the sale. Hostinger, HostArmada, Verpex, Ultahost and ChemiCloud charged their usual entry VPS prices in 2025. We found no Black Friday offer from Kamatera at all.
What is the cheapest VPS deal for Black Friday 2026 so far?
Among sales already live, it's Hostinger's KVM 1. It costs USD 6.49/mo on 24 months, or USD 6.17 with the coupons page code COUPONSPAGE (verified October 2026, codes change). It renews at USD 11.99. RackNerd's 2025 sale started at USD 10.60 a year, but its 2026 page isn't up yet.
Is ScalaHosting or Hostinger cheaper for a 4 GB VPS on Black Friday?
Hostinger, if you'll manage the server yourself: its 4 GB KVM 1 is USD 6.99 on 12 months in the live sale. ScalaHosting's managed 4 GB Build #1 is USD 22.46 on 12 months, but it includes management. Even its self-managed 4 GB plan cost USD 9.98 at its 2025 sale low.
Do Black Friday VPS deals renew at the sale price?
Usually not. Hostinger, HostArmada, Verpex and ChemiCloud renew at 1.82 to 2.22 times today's first-term price, and ScalaHosting's Build #1 at 2.45 times. Ultahost and RackNerd's year-round plans renew at the price you paid. Netcup promised a permanent price, then raised it 18.51% in May 2026.
Final Verdict
For a VPS bought this month, Hostinger wins on price: USD 6.17/mo for 4 GB through its coupons page, with the sale already live. For the deepest cut on record, wait for ScalaHosting, which halved both VPS lines in 2024 and 2025.
For one cheap year, RackNerd charges USD 21.99 for 1 GB in the US, and its sale page may undercut that. HostArmada covers Europe, Asia and Australia for USD 44.28. For a price that doesn't jump at renewal, Ultahost holds its rate, provided you can do without a refund on long terms. Kamatera suits short tests, billed by the hour.
Skip the banners at Verpex and ChemiCloud, whose 2025 VPS prices matched the weeks around the sale. Netcup still gives 8 GB in Europe, but its "permanent" price rose within six months.
