Liquid Web’s New Dedicated Servers Powered by Intel Xeon Processors

liquidweb hosting imageLiquid Web recently announced the upgrade of their Dedicated Intel Xeon 6226r servers. Тhe new dedicated servers come with advanced Intel Xeon Scalable processors. According to Intel, this technology delivers “leading, workload-optimized performance, with built-in AI acceleration.” The processors are designed to provide “a seamless performance foundation,” helping speed data “from the multi-cloud to the intelligent edge and back.”

Liquid Web Now Running Intel Xeon Scalable Processors

The new addition of the Intel technology means that Liquid Web’s customers will be pleased to perform better for high workloads. More specifically, large databases and such with a high query load will benefit from the upgrade.

The Intel Xeon Gold 6226R can be launched in single or dual configurations in Liquid Web’s Lansing, Phoenix, and Amsterdam data centers. According to the official announcement, Liquid Web is excited to be able to offer the new processor:

“Available in both single and dual processor configurations, this new technology will be a tremendous benefit for customers who need consistent and powerful processing,” said Melanie Purkis, Director of Managed Hosting at Liquid Web. The new Intel servers will bring double cache, scalability, and improved CPU performance, much better than previous processors. Purkis also says that they have already witnessed an increased demand from their customers who need this improved performance for their mission-critical sites, apps, and databases.

It is also noteworthy that the Intel Xeon 6226R is central to Liquid Web’s Managed Dedicated VMware Private cloud. The private cloud was launched last year, providing useful features to enterprises and SMBs.
