WordPress Installation
Installing WordPress on Inmotion Hosting is very easy and can be achieved with a software called Softaculous. This software is used by many hosting providers and it automatizes the WordPress installation process to a few clicks.
The first thing, that you have to do is to log in your account and under your account name find and click on the cPanel button.
In the cPanel, find and click on the Softaculous link that can be found in the services/software section. Then find the WordPress icon, click on it and then hit the install button.
On the next step, you will be asked for some details including your site name, description, password, language and many others.
Fill these fields with your appropriate information and make sure that you choose a strong password and admin name, because this is going to be your admin account login information. You can leave the “Install directory” field blank, so your website will be installed in a way that it would be accessible by your domain. If you choose an installation folder, your site will be placed in yourdomain.com/foldername/. It is important to have that in mind.
After you are done with filling all of these fields, click on the install button and wait for the installation to be completed.
Then, you can visit your website from its url, and you can also go to its admin panel visiting yourdomain.com/wp-admin.
