The Best Plans Review of NameCheap
Almost all of the hosting plans come with a lot of different tools that can help you manage your website and at a very competitive price too but we will discuss that later on in this article.
The plans for the Shared Hosting come in three packages for each budget Stellar Business, Stellar Plus and Stellar. These plans include a lot of different sets of tools and features that will assist you to manage your website and also make sure that the traffic flow on it is worked on in a manner towards increasing. Some of the features that are offered and those plans are:
Backups (twice a week).
Unmetered bandwidth.
SPF, SMTP, POP3, IMAP, Whois.
PHPMyAdmin.
Web Virus Scanner.
Google Apps.
Google Analytics login.
Softaculous Script Installer.
Resource Usage.
Webmail.
Parked domains.
The starting price for the plans begins at $2.88/month, which is lower than the average for this type of service.
There are three packages when it comes to the reseller hosting plans as well. Compared to some of the competitive products they offer a cheaper price for resellers. They also offer a money-back guarantee, a bandwidth no limit, and an unlimited number of subdomains you could have.
When we discuss the dedicated service of the company, during our review we have established that the devices which are running are fairly modern and they vary from Intel C236 Chipset to Supermicro X11SSD-F. You also get a money-back guarantee but this time only for a week.
But while they do offer one SSL for free we have to say that this as a cell is only limited to one year and after that you have to start paying a subscription fee for it. Furthermore there some complaints about their pages loading kind of slow, although complaints are something that is relative and the general opinion is good.
The Prices & Coupon Offers Review
When it comes to the prices of NameCheap, you have your standard 30-day money-back guarantee after you purchase a product. Their refund policy is a bit tricky though because they did not immediately restore your money for smaller purchases such as add-ons like having a dedicated IP address or server management tools. But like we said it is only for some of the products. Also for some of the products, you don’t get 30 days guarantee but you get less. For example, for dedicated hosting, you have only 7 Days to quit. This could mislead customers.
The good news is some of the perks you get in some of their products for example VPS, which offers an SSD which is sought after by a lot of VPS customers.
NameCheap Network, Support & Uptime Review
You have a standard 99.9% uptime and the dedicated service of the company is primarily located in the USA plus you also have servers that are located in the UK, more specifically Nottingham. The servers for the virtual private services and the dedicated plans are based in Phoenix Arizona in a data center that is called PhoenixNAP.
If we have to discuss the customer support of this company we can assure you that there no complaints and you can reach it via all the possible ways. It works via a ticketing system, live chat, and email. The only minor setback is probably that they do not accept support via phone. But overall and all their support is just like their control board – very friendly and very good.
Conclusion, Pros and Cons on NameCheap Hosting
In conclusion for this company, we would say that it is a very good hosting service that is known on an international level and offers extremely good competitive pricing and it has a lot of advantages over the competition for their hosting plans. And even though they do not offer phone support it is compensated with a very well laid out you for Control Panel and interface. Some problems have been registered concerning their performance but these are not seen very often. We have to compliment the very high variety of features which are very attractive and offered in packs so that customers are more likely to switch to their products because they put a lot of attention when it comes to the maintenance of their sites.
