The well-known leader in the hosting service HostPapa continues on with their acquisitions of companies by buying Korax. This is one of the older leaders in the country that operates on the global market by offering services catering to small and medium businesses.
HostPapa as one of the famous global hosting companies continues with the acquisition of other players in the segment. This time they bought a well-known company that has been in the business since 1997. HostPapa offers in its portfolio both traditional and cloud hosting services and this acquisition will help them to offer customers more choice and flexibility. No financial information is given about the deal.
Customers of Korax will benefit by being upgraded a new data center. It is described as state-of-the-art and is environmentally-friendly by using renewable energy. The deal will allow customers of the hosting service to access a wider portfolio of services, including cloud-based business services. Korax posted a notice on their home page with the following message:
Korax customers will receive all the benefits of being part of the HostPapa family, including enhanced customer support, access to upgraded state‑of‑the‑art hosting infrastructure, industry-leading cloud security services, and more.
Existing Korax users should know that no changes will be made to their sites. In the coming months, improvements will be made to the machines and infrastructure to boost performance and reliability. The customers will receive an email notifying them about the migration with more information. The server upgrade will also provide an additional benefit as the faster loading speed will increase the ranking of sites.
