Datacenters Project Platform Helps Configure Colocation Requirements

The Datacenters company has just launched their Datacenters.com Project Platform, aimed at helping users configure their colocation requirements.

The new Project Platform “makes writing and distributing a colocation RFP (Request For Proposal) simple for IT departments and company stakeholders to complete the RFP process.”

Other improvements that the Datacenters Project Platform introduces include getting rid of the hassle typical for the RFP process “in one easy-to-use platform”; making it possible for clients and providers to collaborate on their RFPs and submit and receive proposals; submitting documents and revising finalized RFPs; creating colocation projects of “any size and complexity”, etc.

We’ve had record-breaking traffic growth for seventeen straight months. Now is the perfect time to incorporate what has been missing – the Datacenters.com Project Platform and connecting our customers directly to the providers,” said Mike Price, Vice President of Software Engineering at Datacenters.com.

Datacenters.com Used Their Client and Provider Feedback to Create the Project Platform

It’s also noteworthy that Datacenters.com implemented both client and provider feedback in the creation process of the platform. Thus, the company was able to define colocation requirements, choose the right providers and data center locations, and distribute the RFP directly to the chosen providers.

More about Datacenters.com

Since 2014, the Datacenters company has attracted more than two million visitors. The platform includes details on 292 providers, 2,913 data center facilities, and 345 marketplace products.

Datacenters.com is a technology marketplace and aggregator,” the official website says. The company offers data center colocation, cloud, connectivity, hardware, software, and managed services from providers worldwide.
