Now read that exclusion beside a complaint from October 2025. A customer of nearly five years reported that server “Aktualisierung” caused outages lasting hours to days. Emergency maintenance is exactly what the SLA (Service-Level-Agreement, the uptime promise in the contract) carves out.

The real problem is the pricing page. Auf 30 Juli 2026 it advertised the same shared hosting at five different starting prices. The page title said “from $2/month”. That same page promises “your renewal hosting plan price will not change”. Technically that’s accurate, because the list rate holds steady. What disappears is the coupon, and your bill doubles.
