SKB Enterprise B.V. sold Amsterdam-based servers until January 2025, and its oldest customer review dates from 2017. Its VAT registration was still valid when we checked, so this isn’t a bankruptcy. It sold the hosting operation and kept the shop window open. That’s why parts of this section are in the present tense and parts are in the past.

It said SKB Enterprise B.V. no longer provides hosting or cloud services, and that SpectraIP B.V. had acquired all hosting activities.

That’s a hardware dispute rather than a hosting one, but the timing shows what was happening: the kit was being sold off.

SKB’s store asks 2.4 per 4.4 times more for matched CPU and memory. Buying from the abandoned storefront costs more and gives you a supplier that has publicly said it isn’t in this business.

Contract terms matter to you: the checkbox at checkout links the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy to a dead domain. You’d be accepting terms you can’t read. The EU VAT register now lists the company in the village of Espel, not the Amsterdam office every review still quotes.

We assess how upfront the provider is with information a buyer needs:
