Infomaniak has traded since the early 1990s and employs 300+ personale, all in Switzerland. It builds its own data centers and writes its own control panel. That vertical integration shapes the whole product line.

So what does that mean if your visitors aren’t European? There is no US, Asian or Australian region. Readers in Sydney or Los Angeles pay for a round trip to Geneva on every request. For a Swiss or European audience that’s fine. For a global one it’s a real handicap.

Infomaniak is also quiet about the details. We checked the ecology, sovereign cloud, housing and hosting pages and found no data center count and no site list. The housing page states only that the facilities are in Geneva.

We found no independent benchmark from a primary publisher, so we won’t quote one. Infomaniak’s own incident log is public and dated, so we read that instead.

Read it as a host with real incidents and unusually honest reporting of them.

The seven-day phone window belongs to Support Plus at EUR 50/mo, which also cuts the guaranteed response to four hours. Pro Support at EUR 250/mo brings that to two hours plus 24/7 emergency calls. All paid tiers carry a six-month minimum.

That explains a July 2026 complaint we found, where a customer wrote that reaching a human costs 50 euro al mese. Infomaniak’s own comparison page backs them up. Support is included and it’s competent, but the advertised availability is the paid version.

We assess how upfront Infomaniak is with important information:

Its pages also contradict each other. Three say servers are used for up to 15 anni; the cloud computing page says up to 10. The web hosting page still says the company “belongs to its founders and its employees”. The about page now names a foundation as majority shareholder.
