Funktionen und Dienste

Verpex Limited is a UK company, registered at Companies House on 16 Juli 2019. It sells cPanel shared hosting, Reseller-Hosting, VPS plans and managed servers. It doesn’t sell dedicated servers. Its company details page says it is part of World Host Group, a UK hosting group with many brands.

Produktpalette

• Shared Hosting: drei Ebenen (Bronze, Silber, Gold). The same plans also appear as “WordPress Hosting” und “Cloud Web Hosting” zu identischen Preisen.
• Reseller-Hosting: plans for 15 zu 100 cPanel-Konten. Reseller hosting lets you sell hosting to your own clients under your brand.
• VPS-Hosting: unmanaged Linux and Windows servers with root access. Ein VPS (virtueller privater Server) reserves a fixed slice of one machine’s CPU and memory for you.
• Verwaltete Server: managed cPanel VPS and managed cloud servers, where Verpex’s staff run the server for you. Das “Verwaltetes WordPress” product is one of these servers.

The Limits Behind the Plans

Every shared plan runs cPanel on NVMe storage (ein schnellerer SSD-Typ). Plan cards list LiteSpeed, a web server built to serve busy sites with less load than Apache. We confirmed the “Server: LiteSpeed” header on three Verpex hosts in London, Dallas und Singapur.

The resource limits sit in a collapsed table on the plan page, and they matter more than the headline storage. CloudLinux, an operating system that walls off each account’s resources, sets the caps. Bronze bekommt 1 GB RAM und 1 vCPU (virtueller CPU-Kern), while Silver and Gold get 2 GB und 2 vCPU. Entry processes, the number of scripts that can run at once, sind 30 on Bronze and Silver and 35 on Gold.

Disk speed is capped identically on all three tiers: 1,024 IOPS (Eingabe-/Ausgabeoperationen pro Sekunde) und 50 MB / s. Moving up from Silver to Gold buys more sites and storage, not faster disks. Each database is limited to 5 GB, and each plan can send 100 E-Mails pro Stunde. That cap makes sending newsletters from the hosting account impractical. Unser E-Mail-Hosting-Leitfaden covers services built for that job.

Free extras include SSL certificates, unbegrenzte Site-Migrationen, the Softaculous app installer, Monarx malware scanning and offsite backups. The terms say backups run twice a day. They also call backups “a best effort service” and don’t warrant that they are complete. Keep your own copy.

Standorte von Rechenzentren

The checkout offers nine server locations: Dallas, Büffel (New York), Toronto, Mexiko-Stadt, London, Frankfurt, Mumbai, Singapur und Sydney. You pick one per plan. Verpex’s technology page says it rents servers from cloud providers such as Linode, DigitalOcean and Leaseweb rather than running its own data centers.

The live servers tell a slightly different story. We resolved hosts named on Verpex’s own status page, such as its London and Singapore machines. Every IP address we checked is registered to WHG Hosting Services Ltd, the group company Verpex names on its company details page.

Leistungserwartungen

We measured network latency to Verpex’s London, Dallas and Singapore servers from 10 Länder auf 30 September 2026. We used Globalping probes on home and mobile internet providers, mit 10 TCP connections to port 443 jede. That’s the connection a browser opens to a secure website, so it shows how fast a connection starts. It doesn’t measure how fast a website hosted there loads.

No packets were lost. Location choice matters more than the plan tier. A UK visitor reaches the London server in 6.2 Frau, but a Nigerian visitor needs 103.9 ms to reach the same machine. Verpex has no African location. Of the three servers we measured, London was the fastest from Lagos.

Latency to the London server from ten home and mobile ISP probes, with Lagos highlighted. Quelle: our Globalping measurements, 30 September 2026.

Australians should pick Sydney, nicht Singapur. Brisbane took 311.9 ms to reach London and 319.5 ms to reach Singapore. In a separate run, Verpex’s Sydney server answered Brisbane in 27.5 Frau, Hobart in 23.4 ms and Auckland in 25.0 Frau. We found no independent benchmark of Verpex’s page speed that we could cite.

Kundenerfahrung

Trustpilot-Score: 4.7 von 1,693 Bewertungen, mit 640 posted in the last 12 Monate. Of all 1,693, 1,528 sind Fünf-Sterne-Hotel (90.3%) und 97 sind ein Stern (5.7%). The middle is almost empty: 53 Vier Sterne, 9 three-star and 6 Zwei-Sterne-Bewertungen.

The star bars show how little sits between five stars and one. Verpex’s Trustpilot profile, gefangen genommen 30 September 2026.

Who asks for the review explains that shape. Von der 200 neueste Bewertungen, gepostet zwischen 8 August and 30 September 2026, 191 came through Verpex’s invitation links. They averaged 4.94. Nur 9 wurden unaufgefordert geschrieben, and those averaged 4.11.

What Happy Customers Mention

Die Unterstützung dominiert das Lob. Von der 188 five-star reviews among the newest 200, 103 Erwähnen Sie die Unterstützung, help or chat. Most are short: the median one runs to 42 Figuren, sowie “very fast support.” Some name the agent who helped. One recent reviewer credited Orbi, Verpex’s AI chat assistant, with solving a problem quickly.

Speed is the second theme. Of the same 188 Bewertungen, 70 use words like fast, quick or prompt. Free migrations come up far less, im 7 von ihnen.

Resellers add a point about price. A long-term reseller on Reddit wrote in January 2026 that the plans are “vernünftig” against rivals, and that earlier email-sending problems had improved.

What Unhappy Customers Report

The negative reviews are a different population. Of all 103 einer- and two-star reviews on Trustpilot, 90 wurden unaufgefordert geschrieben. Verpex replied to 102 von ihnen, so it does read complaints.

Unannounced changes are the sharpest theme in 2026. Three reviewers wrote in June and July 2026 that server IP addresses changed without notice, taking client sites offline. Others describe multi-day outages on reseller servers, a cPanel license error, and a VPS that never started.

Is it getting worse? The count of negative reviews rose from 3 im 2022 zu 10 im 2023. It then reached 33 im 2024 und 33 again in 2025. Durch 30 September 2026 it stood at 24 für das Jahr.

Negative reviews per year, with the partial 2026 count highlighted. Quelle: Trustpilot, alle 103 einer- and two-star reviews counted 30 September 2026.

Leaving is the third theme. Two reviewers in 2026 lost access to their site files after their hosting expired or was cancelled. Die Begriffe erklären warum: once a service is suspended or overdue, Verpex “may no longer retain a copy of your data”.

Reddit’s Take

Much of Verpex’s Reddit footprint is marketing. Coupon posts and near-identical “bestes Hosting” lists appear days apart in the same few subreddits, also haben wir sie ignoriert.

The candid threads point in one direction: change management. Im Oktober 2024, an agency hosting more than 150 sites wrote that Verpex removed the PHP mail function without warning. The same customer said the server IP had changed twice with little notice. Im Dezember 2024, another user wrote that a backend update stopped all passwords working, and no notice went out.

Ein September 2026 post shows the common mistake. A Bronze customer cancelled hosting, then paid a domain renewal to unlock the transfer. The website files were still locked behind the cancelled account. Download everything before you cancel.

Ownership comes up too. Commenters in 2025 und 2026 pointed out that Verpex belongs to World Host Group. One said the group “does not have a great rep” on r/webhosting.

Support-Qualität

Verpex bietet 24/7 Live-Chat, Email, tickets and phone lines in the US and UK. Its About page claims an average ticket response of “um 30 Protokoll”. The chat window on its site opens with Orbi, an AI assistant. Ein Mai 2026 reviewer complained that live chat had become AI-powered.

Reviews split on depth, nicht Geschwindigkeit. Quick questions get fast, polite answers. Complex problems, such as DNS faults or reseller outages, draw complaints about repeated tickets and blame on “propagation”. Ein Mai 2026 reviewer said they were stuck with a bot for nearly two hours.

When to Use Verpex

Verpex works best when your site is small, your billing is yearly, and your backups live somewhere else.

Who It Suits

A first website on a budget: Bronze gives one site 30 GB NVMe, cPanel and a free migration. After the USD 3.00 first year it costs USD 6.00 ein Monat, which stays affordable.

A freelancer starting to resell: Wiederverkäufer 15 renews only 1.28 das fache seines Einstiegspreises. That keeps your margin predictable while you find the first clients.

Sites with visitors in several regions: nine locations let you place each site near its audience. Our measurements show the choice cuts latency sharply, zum Beispiel 27.5 ms instead of 319.5 ms for Brisbane.

It Pays Off If

• You want real cPanel, because every shared and reseller plan includes it at no extra cost.
• You’re moving several sites, because migrations are free for 1 zu 100 Websites.
• You prefer chat support at any hour, because it runs 24/7 and usually answers quickly.

When NOT to Use Verpex

The weak spots sit in the terms and in how Verpex handles change, not in the price.

Look Elsewhere When

Testing a VPS risk-free: Verpex excludes servers from its money-back guarantee. A VPS you don’t like is a VPS you’ve paid for.

The last two lines set the refund window and the exclusions. Verpex terms and conditions, gefangen genommen 30 September 2026.

You need a written uptime promise on the cheapest plan: Bronze’s plan table promises 99.50%, while Silver and Gold show 99.99%. That allows about 3.6 hours of downtime in a 30-day month on Bronze, against about 4 minutes on the others.

Look at the Uptime Guarantee row near the bottom: Bronze bekommt 99.50%. Verpex web hosting page, gefangen genommen 30 September 2026.

An agency that can’t absorb surprise changes: IP-Änderungen, the removed PHP mail function and outages on reseller servers all hit client sites. If your clients bill you for downtime, pick a host with a slower, better-announced change process.

Check These Before You Buy

• You send newsletters from your site: das 100 emails per hour cap applies on every shared tier.
• You need fast database access: all three shared tiers share the same 1,024 IOPS disk cap.
• Sie zahlen monatlich: der USD 0.60 first month becomes USD 6.00 straight away.
• You might leave in a hurry: download your files before you cancel, because data may not survive suspension.

For a VPS with a refund window, ScalaHosting is the closer fit. For steadier pricing, look at UltaHost or Krystal, both covered below.

Verpex Plans and Pricing

Verpex shows the renewal price on every plan card, under the discounted rate. That’s more honest than many budget hosts. The cards default to a 12-month term, and all prices below come from Verpex’s USD storefront, zzgl. MwSt.. Other countries may see local currency.

The cart confirms it: the plan renews every year at a usual price of USD 72.00.

The renewal price sits in grey under each card’s price; the outline marks Bronze. Verpex web hosting page, gefangen genommen 30 September 2026.

Two lines stand out. Wiederverkäufer 60 has the steepest jump at 2.5x, und Reseller 30 follows at 2.38x. Wiederverkäufer 15 is the mildest at 1.28x, so a small reseller gets the fairest deal on the smallest plan.

How much each plan’s price rises at renewal, with Bronze highlighted. Quelle: Verpex plan pages and cart, 30 September 2026.

Shared Hosting

Eintrittspreis: USD 3.00/mo on a 12-month term (US Dollar 36 heute)

Erneuert sich um: USD 6,00/Monat

The ads that say “from USD 0.60” describe one month only. Das ist ein 90% discount on the first month of monthly billing, after which Bronze bills USD 6.00 jeden Monat. The 36-month term costs USD 97, etwa USD 2.69 ein Monat. At the end of it, Verpex’s own price data lists the next three years at USD 215.55.

Bronze hosts one website. If you run two, Silver’s 100-site allowance is the realistic entry point, bei USD 5.00 dann USD 10.00 ein Monat.

Reseller Hosting

Beginnt um: USD 17.16/mo | Erneuert sich um: USD 22.00/mo

All reseller plans include WHM (the reseller side of cPanel) and white-label nameservers. Verpex doesn’t provide WHMCS, the usual billing software, so you buy your own licence. Wiederverkäufer 100 kostet USD 71.94 a month for the first year and renews at USD 109.

VPS and Managed Servers

Nicht verwalteter VPS von: US Dollar 10.00 für den ersten Monat | Erneuert sich um: 19,99 USD/Monat

The unmanaged VPS range runs from VPS-D4 up to VPS-D32, was USD kostet 55 dann USD 109.99. Managed cPanel servers start at USD 28.75 a month on a year’s term. Managed cloud servers start at USD 34.50 für den ersten Monat, dann USD 69.

Dedizierte Server

Verpex doesn’t sell dedicated servers. Its largest option is a managed cPanel server with 256 GB RAM.

Costs That Don’t Show on the Card

• Domain: free for the first year on yearly or longer terms, not on monthly billing. It then renews at Verpex’s “regular renewal rate”, which its domain page doesn’t list.
• Backups: inbegriffen, but not warranted (siehe oben).
• SSL and migrations: kostenlos.
• License add-ons: “final and non-refundable”, per the plan page.
• Rückbuchungen: a GBP 50 oder USD 80 administration fee if a chargeback is “incorrectly made”, gemäß den Bedingungen.

The Refund Window, Then and Now

Today’s terms give 30 days on all products “except for Domains, Server und bestimmte Produkte von Drittanbietern”. The guarantee covers your first term only and can be used once. Its homepage FAQ adds that VPS plans are excluded. Auf 15 Januar 2026, the homepage still offered 45 Tage für Shared- und Reseller-Pläne, und 7 Tage auf VPS.

The old guarantees sit at the bottom of each product card. Verpex homepage as archived by the Wayback Machine on 15 Januar 2026.

Is the Price Fair?

Ja, for a yearly buyer. US Dollar 6.00 ein Monat kauft 30 GB of NVMe on a LiteSpeed server in year two, which is a moderate price. It isn’t flat pricing, obwohl. UltaHost’s comparable plan renews at the same USD 4.03 it starts at. The worst deal on the page is monthly billing, where the teaser month hides a full-price plan.

Verpex Transparency Score

Verpex is open about prices and specs, and inconsistent about who owns it and what it promises.

• Firmeninformation: Begrenzt. The company details page says Verpex is “part of the World Host Group”. Auf der About-Seite heißt es “Wir sind 100% privately-owned”. Companies House lists two owners with 25-50% of the shares each: Stablepoint Limited and an Israeli company. The details page also pins Verpex’s company number, 12106087, on a different company, WHG Hosting Services Ltd.
• Preistransparenz: Gut. Each plan card and the cart state what you’ll pay at renewal. Der USD 0.60 headline is the main misleading number.
• Technische Dokumentation: Gut. Zentralprozessor, RAM, Festplattengeschwindigkeit, email caps and all nine locations are published before you pay.
• Bedingungen & Richtlinien: Begrenzt. The refund exclusions are clear. The uptime promise isn’t, because the plan table and the terms disagree.

The terms say only that Verpex will “endeavour to provide a 99.9% Serviceverfügbarkeit”. They name no service credit or other remedy if it falls short. So the plan table’s 99.99% on Silver and Gold has no remedy behind it.

The clause opens with “We endeavour to provide a 99.9% Serviceverfügbarkeit”. Verpex terms and conditions, gefangen genommen 30 September 2026.

Gesamttransparenz: Gut im Geld, limited on ownership and guarantees. Read the terms, not the plan table, before you rely on any uptime figure.

Alternatives to Verpex

Each pick below fixes one Verpex weakness: the doubling renewal, das Rückerstattungsfenster, or the missing VPS refund.

For a Renewal That Doesn’t Move: UltaHost

UltaHost’s Shared Starter plan is USD 4.03 einen Monat für 12 Monate, and the renewal price is the same. Es enthält 30 GB of NVMe for one site, the same storage as Bronze. Its two-year price of USD 3.44 isn’t refundable, so buy the annual term if you want a refund window.

For an Independent UK Host: Krystal

Krystal’s Amethyst plan costs GBP 7 a month for one site with 10 GB NVMe. It carries a 60-day money-back guarantee, twice Verpex’s window, and UK support by ticket, chatten und telefonieren. Unser Krystal review covers its infrastructure and trade-offs.

For a Managed VPS You Can Refund: ScalaHosting

ScalaHosting’s Build #1 managed VPS costs USD 29.95 pro Monat und verlängert sich zum Preis von USD 54.95, close to Verpex’s managed cPanel server. Its terms cover VPS hosting with a full refund within 30 days for new clients, then a prorated refund after that. Unser ScalaHosting-Rezension explains its CPU limits and renewal history.

Fazit

Dieses Ergebnis kopieren

Verpex is a good budget host with a doubling renewal and terms that promise less than its marketing. Our Average Score is 4.7 von 1,239 Bewertungen untersucht, and those reviews credit support above all.

Unser Urteil

Buy Bronze or Silver on a yearly term if you want cPanel and a friendly chat team for a small site. Budget für den USD 6.00 oder USD 10.00 renewal from year two. Don’t buy a Verpex VPS unless you’re sure, because there’s no refund.

If flat pricing matters most, UltaHost is the better buy. UK buyers who want an independent host and a 60-day refund should look at Krystal. Anyone testing a managed VPS should start at ScalaHosting. Häufig gestellte Fragen

Is Verpex Bronze enough for a first WordPress site?

Ja, as long as you only need one site. Bronze gibt dir 30 GB NVMe, 1 GB of RAM and one-click WordPress installs. If you plan a second site within the year, start on Silver instead.

What does Verpex Bronze cost after the first year?

Bronze renews at USD 6.00 ein Monat, oder USD 72 ein Jahr, after a first year of USD 36. The 36-month term costs USD 97 vorne. Verpex’s price data lists the following three years at USD 215.55.

What goes wrong most often for Verpex customers?

Unannounced changes cause the most anger, especially IP address changes on reseller servers. Slow fixes during outages come next in the negative reviews. The third problem is losing access to your files after you cancel.

Is Verpex or UltaHost cheaper over three years?

Verpex is cheaper if you prepay, because its 36-month Bronze term costs USD 97. UltaHost’s annual Shared Starter plan adds up to USD 145.08 über drei Jahre. From year four, obwohl, UltaHost stays at USD 4.03 a month while Verpex renews higher.

Can I get a refund on a Verpex VPS?

Nein, because Verpex’s terms exclude servers from the 30-day guarantee and its FAQ names VPS plans. Shared and reseller plans still get 30 Tage, but only for the first term.

Does Verpex really guarantee 99.99% Betriebszeit?

Nicht schriftlich. The plan table shows 99.99% on Silver and Gold, aber nur 99.50% auf Bronze. The terms merely “Bemühen” zu erreichen 99.9% and name no credit if Verpex misses it.
