Who Actually Runs the Servers

Sav publishes this openly, which is more than many resellers do. Its Website Hosting Agreement says hosting is “exclusively powered by Cloudflare” and binds you to Cloudflare’s subscription agreement. Any issue, “including issues concerning interruptions of service”, must be addressed to Cloudflare.

Savannah AI uses a different stack again. Sav’s own page names Vercel for the front end, Fly.io for the backend and Supabase for the database. So when your site goes down, the company you pay is contractually not the company you escalate to.

The clearest community signal is a reversal. In a February 2026 thread ranking registrars, a member who had recommended Sav in early 2025 moved it to the avoid list. The cited reasons were “domains reportedly lost or auctioned despite customer efforts to renew or retain them” e “slow or unresolved customer support tickets”. Recommendations went to Dynadot, Porkbun and Spaceship instead.
