Who Actually Runs the Servers

Sav publishes this openly, which is more than many resellers do. Its Website Hosting Agreement says hosting is “exclusively powered by Cloudflare” and binds you to Cloudflare’s subscription agreement. Any issue, “including issues concerning interruptions of service”, must be addressed to Cloudflare.

Savannah AI uses a different stack again. Sav’s own page names Vercel for the front end, Fly.io for the backend and Supabase for the database. So when your site goes down, the company you pay is contractually not the company you escalate to.

Sav announced Savannah AI on 12 September 2024 for a Q1 2025 launch, and it was still labelled Beta on 10 September 2026.

Data Center Locations

There is no data centre list, because Sav has none. Cloudflare’s edge network decides your location, or Vercel and Fly.io on Savannah AI. An edge network serves your pages from whichever worldwide server sits closest to the visitor. Latency won’t be your problem. Control and accountability are.

Performance Expectations

We found no independent speed or uptime benchmarks for Sav sites. More telling is what the contract omits. Sav publishes no uptime figure anywhere: no 99.9%, no SLA (Service Level Agreement, a contractual uptime commitment with a remedy attached). Liability is capped at one month of fees or USD 100, whichever is lower.

Customer Experience

The lifetime numbers and the current numbers disagree, and the gap is the story. Across 1,078 reviews, 63.5% are five-star and 25.5% are one-star. Straight-averaging those stars gives 3.81 out of 5. Lost domains are the most serious theme, and they cluster on expiry notices. A June 2026 reviewer wrote: “Lost the domain due to not receiving any expiration notices. Held well over 200 domains.” Sav claimed three emails were sent. The customer received none.

Billing problems come second. One August 2026 reviewer got an expiry reminder for 4 August on 6 July, then an unauthorised charge the same day, with auto-renewal switched off. Others report failed card verification, checkouts taking four attempts, and payments that deduct fees without delivering the domain.

Then there’s the site itself. A June 2026 three-star review says: “Website is super buggy. All of my most recent visits I wasted time.” Another reviewer took hours to renew one domain across several payment methods.

Auction handling produces the angriest reviews. Backorders that go to auction instead of securing the name. Bids blocked in the final minutes. In one May 2026 case, Sav’s email quoted the deadline in the wrong time zone and the customer missed it.

One July 2026 thread is worse and more specific. A seller reports payout funds withheld for close to ten months, because a tax form section of the dashboard won’t load. Sav’s answer, quoted in the thread: “At this time, we are unable to provide a definite timeline for resolution.” A Netherlands-based seller replied with the same problem, questioning why a US tax form applies to a non-US sale. A third member said Sav failed to process a renewal, lost a domain worth USD 5,000, auctioned it and kept the money.

The clearest community signal is a reversal. In a February 2026 thread ranking registrars, a member who had recommended Sav in early 2025 moved it to the avoid list. The cited reasons were “domains reportedly lost or auctioned despite customer efforts to renew or retain them” and “slow or unresolved customer support tickets”. Support Quality

Sav’s contact page offers live chat and nothing else for customers. It lists a fax number and a phone line explicitly labelled “Law Enforcement Phone”. There is no customer support phone number and no published ticket queue.

Reply data is the hardest number in this review. Of 76 negative public reviews on the main platform, Sav has replied to zero. The company claimed its profile in February 2020 and has never used the paid response tools.

• You need to phone someone: the only number Sav publishes is for law enforcement. Live chat is the customer channel.
• You expect a money-back guarantee: there isn’t one. The terms say “payments are non-refundable” outside three narrow cases, and Sav may “pause, terminate, or change the Refund Policy without notice, for any reason”.

Overall Transparency: mixed, and strangely so. Sav discloses the two things most resellers hide: its infrastructure partners and its renewal prices. Then it leaves the refund policy unlinked and the hosting contract half-edited.
