DDoS-Guard non è un normale host web, e il suo listino prezzi lo dimostra. Il piano di hosting più economico costa USD 50 un mese. Ciò acquista un core della CPU, 2 GB di RAM e 20 GB di disco. Mainstream hosts sell that much space for under USD 5. You aren’t paying for the disk here. You’re paying for a scrubbing network, meaning filtering infrastructure that absorbs attack traffic before it reaches your server.
Questa recensione si basa su 256 customer reviews across five platforms, the live pricing feed behind the order pages, the company’s own documents, and Reddit threads. A differenza delle recensioni pesanti di affiliazione, we sorted every rating by date. That one step explains why this company scores 2.0/5 on one platform and 9.3/10 su un altro. We also checked which legal entity you sign a contract with, because it has changed.
Valutazione complessiva: DDoS-Guard scores 2.0/5 on the platform with recent reviews and 9.3/10 on the platform whose reviews stopped in 2022. Strengths are a 4 Tbps scrubbing network, flat pricing with no renewal jump, and protection that switches on in minutes. Common complaints are cost, rifiutato rimborsi, ignored abuse reports, and IP addresses some visitors can’t reach. Best for a site already under attack, with a budget to match.
Ultimo aggiornamento: agosto 2026. Dati su prezzi e recensioni verificati.
Recent history worth knowing: DDoS-Guard’s entry website-protection plan cost USD 30 a month in January 2022 e USD 100 entro marzo 2022, a 3.3x rise. The free protection tier sold alongside it was gone by September 2022. Any review quoting a USD 30 entry price or a free plan describes a catalogue that no longer exists.

Servizio Clienti
Caratteristiche e servizi
DDoS-Guard sells mitigation first and infrastructure second. Every product wraps the same filtering network. The company says it has protected over 710,000 enterprises since 2011, and publishes nothing you can use to check that.
Tipi di hosting offerti
- Website Protection – a reverse proxy at L7, the application layer. It takes visitor traffic and passes only the clean part to you
- Network Protection – L3-4 and L3-7 filtering for whole networks, over BGP, GRE tunnels or a physical cross-connect
- Protected Hosting – hosting condiviso su cPanel, four public plans in Moscow or Amsterdam
- Protected VDS/VPS – Server virtuali KVM, five sizes plus a custom builder
- Protected Dedicated Servers – physical machines in the same two cities, built to order
- Add-on – bot mitigation, security audits, e un WAF (Web Application Firewall) that inspects requests for attack patterns
Caratteristiche principali evidenziate dai clienti
- No surcharge for attacks mitigated – your bill doesn’t move when a 2 Tbps flood arrives
- Free CDN on every plan – a content delivery network caches files close to visitors, so pages load faster
- IP dedicato incluso – every hosting plan gets one, so you don’t share an address
- On-Demand network protection – 24 hours of mitigation per month, which one reviewer called a working replacement for black-holing
Posizioni dei data center
You can buy servers in exactly two cities: Moscow and Amsterdam. Dedicated servers list five halls across them. Two cities. That’s the whole map.
The scrubbing nodes are a separate network, and here the company turns vague. Its technology pages place nodes in “the largest data centers in Europe, gli Stati Uniti, South America and Asia” and never name one. For a service whose entire value is where its filtering sits, that omission matters. The IP blocks are odd too. Addresses serving the company’s own site and its cPanel servers sit under the netname IQWEB-LLC-NET with the country code BZ, for Belize. That’s a registration record, not proof of where the metal sits. It does fit a recurring complaint about addresses that visitors’ networks treat with suspicion.
Aspettative di prestazione
DDoS-Guard publishes 4 Tbps of scrubbing capacity, 2,503,891 attacks mitigated during 2025, and a largest single attack of 2.46 Tbps. All self-reported. We found no independent benchmark of its mitigation or hosting speed, which is normal here.
Two other numbers matter more. The uptime commitment reads “up to 99.95%” on the network protection page and a flat “99.95% Disponibilità SLA” on the About page. Uno SLA (Contratto di servizio) is a contractual uptime promise. One written as “fino a” is a ceiling, not a floor. The agreement is published only as a PDF of images, so you can’t search it or paste a clause into an email.
Shared hosting is the weaker half. The hosting page advertises “PHP 7.0-8.2 versions support” while the comparison table on the same page says 7.0-8.3. Both are behind. PHP 8.2 loses security patches on 31 dicembre 2026, 8.3 gets critical fixes only, and current is 8.5. Quella “PHP 7.0-8.2” line has sat unchanged since September 2024.
Esperienza del cliente
DDoS-Guard has 256 reviews across five public platforms, and the scores don’t agree. Two put it at 2.0/5 e 2.1/5. Three put it at 4.5/5, 9/10 e 9.3/10. That looks like a contradiction until you check the dates.
Il 9.3/10 rests on 41 reviews whose newest entry is from May 2022, e 36 were written between 2017 e 2019. Il 9/10 comes from four ratings and one written review, dated March 2025, which that platform labels incentivized. Il 4.5/5 sits on a directory page still quoting a plan called Start-Up at USD 17 un mese, which DDoS-Guard no longer sells. Only the 2.0/5 is built on recent reviews. It splits 86% una stella e 14% cinque stelle, senza niente in mezzo.
Ciò che i clienti elogiano
The mitigation works when it’s aimed at the right problem. A network engineer in April 2026 called the On-Demand plan production-ready and a direct replacement for black-holing attacked addresses. That reads like someone who runs a network for a living.
Reviewers on the business software platforms call the control panel clean and readable for non-specialists. Real-time attack analytics come up often, and so does setup speed. Protection activates in minutes rather than days, and for someone whose site went down this morning, that’s the whole product. No reviewer reports a surprise bill after a large attack either.
Reclami comuni
Refunds dominate. One customer in January 2026 wrote that they had waited a month for their money and were still waiting. Another in August 2025 reported a flat refusal. The pattern goes back years, and the company publishes no refund policy either way.
Cost is the second theme, usually paired with support charges. A developer in July 2025 described a client paying over USD 300 un mese per un VPS, plus over USD 500 in support tickets. Whether every ticket carried a fee is one person’s account. The frequency of “they keep asking for more money” is not.
Third comes IP reachability. A customer in August 2025 said their site went unreachable from some countries after being assigned Russian addresses. Another in April 2026 ordered an Amsterdam server and got an address geolocated to the Emirates. If your traffic is regional, ask what address you’ll get before you pay.
Feedback della comunità (Reddit & Forum)
Reddit tells a different story, because the loudest voices there aren’t customers. They’re the customers’ visitatori.
The most common DDoS-Guard thread is somebody stuck on the check page. Users in r/TOR (aprile 2026) and r/Annas_Archive (October and November 2025) describe a verification loop that regenerates request IDs and never passes. One thread covers an “I’m not a robot” box that ignores clicks. Threads in r/techsupport and r/firefox from March 2026 show ordinary users alarmed by the interstitial, asking whether they’ve been hacked. Nel mese di ottobre 2021, r/CrackWatch users reported Verizon blocking sites behind the service, which we couldn’t confirm independently.
The second finding is an absence. Search the hosting subreddits and there’s almost no discussion of buying from DDoS-Guard. The mentions in r/webhosting are people trying to identify the real host hiding behind it. Per un'azienda che reclama 710,000 protected enterprises, that silence says something.
Then there’s the company it keeps, which reaches you through IP reputation. The European Commission’s Counterfeit and Piracy Watch List, published on 22 Maggio 2025, names DDoS-Guard.net again. It reports that rightholders say the service does not respond to takedown notices. Reviews on three platforms, datato 2024 Attraverso 2026, describe filing abuse reports about illegal content and getting no reply.
Supporta la qualità
Il supporto viene eseguito 24/7 by ticket and live chat, with response time tiered by what you pay. On hosting that’s 90 minutes on Simple down to 30 minutes on Expert. On protection it runs from 2 hours to 10 minuti. Buyers on higher tiers report fast, technical answers. Buyers on cheap tiers report waiting. Both are describing the product as designed. The main review platform also flags that the company hasn’t replied to its negative reviews.
When to Use DDoS-Guard
DDoS-Guard fits a narrow set of situations, and fits them well.
Ideale per
Sites under attack right now: if your host has suspended you or can’t cope, protection activates in minutes. The bill won’t grow with the attack. That combination has real value mid-incident.
Network operators with their own AS: BGP-based protection with On-Demand billing gives 24 hours of mitigation per month. That suits an operator who gets hit occasionally, and it’s what the most credible positive reviews describe.
Game servers and similar targets: attacks on game hosts are frequent, cheap and personal. Flat pricing under repeated attack beats per-gigabyte billing. Compare against our guida all'hosting del server di gioco primo.
Lo apprezzerai se
- You need Moscow or Amsterdam specifically, since both cost the same here
- You want mitigation and hosting from one supplier, with one ticket queue
- You’d rather pay a fixed fee than face a variable bill during an attack
- You need L3-4 protection for a whole subnet, non solo un sito web
When NOT to Use DDoS-Guard
Nessun host è adatto a tutti. For most buyers reading this, DDoS-Guard is the wrong answer.
Cerca altrove se
You run an ordinary website: al blog, a shop, a company site. Cloudflare gives unmetered attack mitigation free, e USD 20 a month buys Pro. DDoS-Guard’s cheapest protection is USD 100. Unless you’ve been attacked and Cloudflare failed you, iniziare da lì.
You need a refund path: there’s no money-back guarantee anywhere on the site. We checked the whole 449-URL sitemap and found no refund page. Customer reports about getting money back are consistently bad.
Your visitors use privacy tools: the challenge page defeats Tor Browser users repeatedly, going by threads still posted in 2026. If part of your audience can’t reach you, protection has cost you the traffic the attack was meant to.
You need a clean jurisdiction on paper: regulated buyers, public-sector procurement and anyone facing a compliance questionnaire will struggle. The transparency section explains why.
Bandiere rosse per la tua situazione
- You need modern PHP: shared hosting tops out at 8.2 o 8.3, depending which part of the page you read. Current is 8.5
- Vuoi supporto telefonico: two numbers are published, but support runs through tickets and chat
- You care who your IP neighbours are: sharing space with sites named in an EU piracy watch list can affect email delivery and filtering
- Your budget is under USD 50 un mese: nothing here is priced for you

DDoS-Guard Plans and Pricing
Prima le buone notizie. There is no renewal shock. The price you see is the price that recurs, and paying 3, 6 o 12 months up front takes up to 20% spento.
⚠️ Avviso sui prezzi: the trap isn’t renewal, it’s the trial. Network protection advertises “Try for USD 3.5” for two days, then bills USD 350 un mese. Website protection gives a 3-day free trial of the USD 100 Piano di base. Neither price is a discount you keep.
Website Protection
Five tiers, fatturato mensilmente: USD di base 100, Normal USD 250, USD medio 600, USD premium 1,000, Impresa USD 2,500. Basic covers one domain and answers support within 2 ore. Enterprise covers ten domains in 10 minuti. Notice what the extra money buys: domains and response time. Support speed is a paid feature here, not a baseline.
Protected Hosting
- Semplice: USD 50/mese, 1 nucleo, 2 GB di RAM, 20 GB SSD, 40,000 inode
- Standard: USD 75/mese, 2 nuclei, 4 GB di RAM, 40 GB SSD, e-mail inclusa
- Avanzate: USD 125/mese, 2 nuclei, 6 GB di RAM, 60 GB SSD
- Esperto: USD 225/mo, 4 nuclei, 8 GB di RAM, 80 GB SSD
An inode is one stored file, così 40,000 is a real ceiling on a busy site. Moscow and Amsterdam cost the same. Simple takes no third-party SSL certificate and has no email, so it’s thinner than the price suggests.
One oddity. The product feed behind those cards also carries three unadvertised “Attività commerciale” piani, a USD 250, Dollaro statunitense 300 e USD 350 un mese. Business M lists 2 nuclei, 4 GB RAM e 40 GB SSD. Those are the same numbers as the USD 75 Piano standard, a 3.3 times the price. If a salesperson quotes a Business tier, ask what the extra USD 175 compra.
Protected VDS/VPS
Five sizes, from Start-up Guard at USD 170/mo (1 nucleo, 2 GB di RAM, 20 GB SSD, 100 Mbps) to Ultimate Guard at USD 501/mo. The custom builder shows how those totals are assembled, and it’s the most useful page on the site. A CPU core costs USD 9 un mese, a GB of RAM USD 14, e 10 GB of SSD USD 9. The protected 100 Mbps port costs USD 115.
Now run the arithmetic on the entry plan. Compute comes to USD 55 and the port to USD 115. Two thirds of your bill is the protected connection, non il server. That’s the honest shape of this product, and it’s why comparing it against a normal Hosting VPS plan misses the point.
Server dedicati
The entry build is USD 450/mo in Moscow: one Intel Xeon E5-1650v4, 32 GB di RAM, 2 X 500 GB SSD e 1 Gbps. Quarterly billing costs USD 1,350. The CPU menu spans generations, from that 2016 Xeon up to a Ryzen 7950X3D and an AMD EPYC 7443P. Check which chip you’re buying, and see our guida al server dedicato for context.
Network Protection
Di base (L3-4) costs USD 350/mo for 50 Mbps of clean traffic, always on. Ottimale (L3-7) costs USD 520/mo for the same 50 Mbps, plus application-layer filtering and CDN.
Costi nascosti da tenere d'occhio
- Changing your protected IP address: Dollaro statunitense 50 per change
- VDS backups: un componente aggiuntivo a pagamento, non incluso
- cPanel, Plesk or ISPmanager licence on a server: extra
- Server administration and site migration: extra
- L7 protection for extra domains on a VDS: charged per domain
Verdetto sui prezzi
Is it expensive? That depends what you think you’re buying. Judged as hosting, it runs 10 per 20 times the market rate. Judged as mitigation, it’s mid-market: the entry network plan works out at USD 7 per Mbps, against EUR 3.90 at Gcore. The flat pricing is real and worth something. But the cheapest way in is still USD 50 un mese, and plenty of buyers at that price don’t need any of this. I nostri guide to cheap hosting with DDoS protection covers the cheaper routes.

DDoS-Guard Transparency Score
We assess how upfront DDoS-Guard is with the information a buyer needs.
- Informazioni aziendali: Povero. The site names IQWeb FZ-LLC in Dubai. Until some point in 2022 the same page gave an Edinburgh address, and the review platform profile still shows Edinburgh. The EU watch list of May 2025 records the brand as also operating as Cognitive Cloud L.P. That Scottish partnership has a Companies House filing overdue since 7 dicembre 2023. The IP blocks carry a Belize country code. Quattro giurisdizioni, no ownership disclosed.
- Trasparenza dei prezzi: Buona. Prices are published for every self-serve product, in USD or RUB, with no renewal trick and a clear term discount. Points off for the Business plans that exist in the order feed but never appear on the page.
- Documentazione tecnica: Limitato. The tutorial library is large and useful. But scrubbing locations are never listed, the PHP version contradicts itself, and the capacity figures can’t be verified.
- condizioni & Politiche: Povero. The SLA is a PDF of images, so its terms can’t be searched or quoted. The uptime figure is “up to 99.95%” in one place and 99.95% in another. There is no refund policy at all.
Trasparenza generale: weak where it counts. Il prezzo è chiaro e onesto. Who you contract with, where your traffic is filtered, and what happens when you want your money back are not.
Alternatives to DDoS-Guard
If DDoS-Guard doesn’t fit, these three cover the gaps most buyers hit.
For Better Value on Website Protection: Cloudflare
Unmetered attack mitigation comes with the free plan, and Pro costs USD 20 a month on annual billing, o USD 25 mensile. That’s a fifth of DDoS-Guard’s entry protection. For a website rather than a network, this is the default first try.
For Protection Bundled With the Server: OVH cloud
OVHcloud includes anti-DDoS on every server at no extra charge, backed by a network it puts at over 20 Tbps. If you mainly want a server that doesn’t fall over, that removes the separate mitigation bill. Its Dutch sites also suit European buyers, alongside the options in our Guida all'hosting nei Paesi Bassi.
For Network Scrubbing From an EU Entity: Gcore
Gcore sells L3/4 protection at EUR 3.90 per Mbps, with no minimum on its pay-as-you-go tier and enterprise plans from EUR 1,500 un mese. That’s roughly half the per-Mbps rate of DDoS-Guard’s entry network plan, from a company whose ownership and locations are documented.
DDoS-Guard is a capable mitigation provider wrapped in a company that tells you as little as it can.
La linea di fondo
We rate DDoS-Guard 2.5 fuori da 5. The mitigation itself earns more than that. The refund silence, the four jurisdictions and the price pull it down.
Attraverso 256 reviews the picture splits by time, not by opinion. Il 9.3/10 e 4.5/5 rest on reviews written before the 2022 price rise and before the contracting entity moved to Dubai. Il 2.0/5 is what recent customers say, e 86% di questi sono una stella.
Buy it if you’re under attack, you need Moscow or Amsterdam, e USD 100 a month is a rounding error next to your downtime. Avoid it if you’re shopping for hosting, if you might want a refund, or if your compliance team will ever ask who you’re paying. Per la maggior parte dei siti, mitigation from a mainstream provider costs a fraction of this. Vedi il nostro DDoS-protected hosting comparison, where entry prices start well below USD 50 un mese.
Domande frequenti
Is DDoS-Guard good for beginners?
Non proprio, though not because it’s hard to use. Reviewers say the panel is clean and setup takes minutes. The problem is price. A beginner’s site doesn’t need USD 50 a month of attack mitigation. Start with normal hosting and free protection instead.
Is DDoS-Guard worth the price?
It depends what you’re buying. As hosting, no. Dollaro statunitense 50 a month gets you one core and 20 GB. As mitigation, it’s mid-market: circa USD 7 per Mbps on the entry network plan, against EUR 3.90 at Gcore. Flat pricing is a real plus, since your bill doesn’t grow during an attack.
Di cosa si lamentano di più i clienti??
Tre cose, al fine. Refunds that don’t arrive or get refused. Costs that keep climbing, support charges included. And IP addresses that make sites unreachable from some countries. Unanswered abuse reports are the fourth theme, raised mostly by non-customers.
How does DDoS-Guard compare to Cloudflare?
Cloudflare is cheaper and better documented for websites. Its free plan includes unmetered mitigation, and Pro costs USD 20 a month against USD 100 for DDoS-Guard Basic. DDoS-Guard’s edge lies elsewhere. It sells the server too, it offers Moscow, and it protects whole networks over BGP.
Does DDoS-Guard offer refunds?
There’s no published money-back guarantee, and no refund page anywhere in its sitemap. You get a 3-day free trial on the cheapest protection plan, and a 2-day network trial for USD 3.50. Several customers report asking for refunds and being refused or ignored. Treat your first month as non-refundable.
Why do some visitors get stuck on the DDoS-Guard check page?
It’s a known and unresolved problem. Reddit threads from October 2025 through April 2026 describe Tor Browser users looping through verification forever, and the checkbox failing to respond. Firefox users have asked whether the popup is malware. If privacy-tool users matter to your traffic, test this before committing.
