What’s left is a handful of orphaned marketing pages advertising plans nobody can order.
This review covers what Oxheberg was, what happened to it, and what its customers are signed up to now. We pulled pricing from the live order system, recovered the archived review data before the profile was merged away, and read the acquirer’s migration notice. Unlike affiliate reviews still pushing the USD 2.99 Pläne, we checked whether they can be bought. They can’t.
Gesamtbewertung: Oxheberg earned a 4.9/5 Bewertung über 233 Kundenbewertungen, mit 98% of them 5-star. That record is real, but it belongs to a company that no longer trades independently. Anyone signing up today lands on Brixly instead, which holds 4.3/5 über 1,351 Bewertungen. Existing Oxheberg customers keep their pricing. New buyers should evaluate Brixly on its own terms, not on Oxheberg’s old reputation.
Hinweis: Oxheberg’s domain was registered in August 2018. Any review dated before February 2026 describes a company that has since been absorbed.

Funktionen und Dienste
Oxheberg sold one thing well: cheap cPanel shared hosting. cPanel is the industry-standard control panel for managing files, email and databases. The product line was thin, and the site’s footer listed other services as “Demnächst” to the end.
Angebotene Hosting-Typen
- Shared Hosting – three tiers (Silber, Gold, Diamant), all on cPanel
- Reseller Hosting – cPanel account bundles, sold through the client portal
- Domain Registration – advertised at USD 9.99/year across 20+ domain endings
- VPS and Dedicated – marketed on the About page, but never listed for sale
Der letzte Punkt ist wichtig. The About page called Oxheberg a “leading company in premium hosting, from web hosting to VPS.” The store never sold one.
Wichtige Funktionen, die Kunden hervorheben
Reviewers kept returning to the same short list, and it’s credible for a budget host:
- LiteSpeed-Webserver – serves pages faster than the older Apache software most cheap hosts run, insbesondere auf WordPress
- Kostenlose SSL-Zertifikate – issued automatically via AutoSSL and Sectigo, so the browser padlock costs nothing extra
- Free custom nameservers – useful for resellers hiding the upstream host
- Free migration and DDoS protection – the team moves your site over, and filters traffic floods aimed at knocking it offline
None of that is unusual in 2026. The price attached to it was.
Standorte von Rechenzentren
Oxheberg’s About page describes a main hosting cluster in the UK, plus content delivery nodes in London, Falkenstein (Deutschland), Tampa (Florida) und Dallas (Texas). A content delivery network caches copies of your site closer to visitors, cutting load time abroad.
Read that carefully. Those four cities are CDN nodes, not data centers you can pick between. The servers sat in the UK. Brixly runs UK, German and US infrastructure.
Leistungserwartungen
Here’s where honesty matters. We found no independent speed or uptime benchmarks for Oxheberg. Keiner. It was too small to attract testing.
What we do have is its own 99.9% Verfügbarkeitsgarantie, backed by pro-rated refunds for any month that falls short. Brixly’s terms are softer, pledging only “reasonable endeavours” to hit 99.9%. That’s a promise to try, not a financially backed SLA (a Service Level Agreement, which carries compensation when breached).
Kundenerfahrung
Before its Trustpilot profile was merged into Brixly’s, Oxheberg carried 4.9/5 von 233 Bewertungen. We recovered the full distribution from an archived copy: 229 Fünf Sterne, 3 Vier Sterne, 1 two-star, zero one-star. Das ist 98.3% perfect scores with not a single furious customer.
Is that plausible? For a small host with a few hundred loyal customers, Ja. It’s also the shape you’d expect when a provider only ever asks happy customers. Treat it as a strong signal, kein Beweis.
Was Kunden loben
Support speed dominated. Reviewers called responses swift and technically competent, describing a team “always on top of any issues” with their sites.
Value came next. One customer called the prices “so low, they’re unbeatable.” Others described long tenures, including one running since 2020.
Reliability barely got mentioned. Nobody writes a review to say their site stayed up.
Häufige Beschwerden
With one two-star review and no one-star reviews, Oxheberg left no real body of complaints to analyse. That’s an honest limit, and we’d rather say so than invent themes.
A single gripe is telling, obwohl. A reviewer flagged that Oxheberg’s ads and FAQ gave different reseller cPanel account counts: 100 an einem Ort, 50 in the other.
Brixly’s complaints are the ones that affect you now, and they’re specific. Three failure modes repeat across its 2026 Bewertungen:
- Email deliverability. A customer of five to six years wrote in May 2026 that quality “dropped dramatically” im vergangenen Jahr, citing repeated email problems. Email trouble surfaces even in positive 4-star reviews from December 2025.
- Cancellation and billing. A June 2026 reviewer says Brixly agreed by ticket to cancel their account, then sent payment demands “on at least 10 occasions” über drei Monate.
- Account suspension disputes. A May 2026 review titled “Paid Under Duress. Account Still Suspended” describes a five-year customer whose first three years were excellent.
Notice the shape of those. Not disgruntled newcomers. Long-tenured customers describing a service that got worse.
Community-Feedback (Reddit & Foren)
We searched Reddit, LowEndTalk, LowEndSpirit and WebHostingTalk. Oxheberg has no community footprint. Not one thread. Not one comment. For a host with a 4.9 Bewertung, that silence is itself information: this was a small operation whose customers never gathered anywhere public.
One warning if you research further. Searches for “Oxheberg” surface threads about OuiHeberg, an unrelated French provider with its own complaint history. Different company. Don’t let the mix-up sway you.
Here’s the community record that tut Angelegenheit, and it belongs to Brixly. Enix Ltd acquired Brixly on 1 Juli 2024. Within weeks, customers were posting on LowEndSpirit about tickets left unanswered beyond 48 Std, and about email deliverability failing after anti-spam services were dropped on cost grounds.
Why does that matter now? Because those 2024 posts predicted exactly the complaint filling Brixly’s 2026 Bewertungen: email that doesn’t deliver. Two independent sources, two years apart, same failure. Not a rumour. A pattern.
And Oxheberg wasn’t a one-off. Brixly’s help centre published an identical acquisition notice for another host, Redwax Cloud Hosting, on the very same day. Enix advertises 16 completed acquisitions. You’re not joining a boutique host, you’re joining a rollup.
Support-Qualität
Tickets and email were the whole menu, beworben als 24/7/365. No phone line or live chat was ever listed. Reviews rated it well anyway, so the tickets got answered.
Brixly adds live chat and a weekday phone number. And support is the most praised thing about Brixly in 2026. Review after review describes tickets resolved in minutes, including on a Sunday morning. Judged on support alone, Brixly would score higher than 4.3.
Two caveats. Priority phone support is an Enterprise-tier benefit at GBP 59.95/mo. And Trustpilot notes Brixly replied to just 40% of negative reviews, “typically taking over 1 month.” Fast when your ticket is routine. Slower when you’re the one complaining.
When to Use Oxheberg
Let’s be precise, because the honest answer is narrow.
Ideal für
Existing Oxheberg customers on a stable site: You have the best deal available. Your price is locked, your logins work, your site hasn’t moved. Staying put keeps a rate new customers can’t get.
Niemand anders, Wirklich: You cannot become an Oxheberg customer. The order links go to Brixly. Any review telling you to buy the USD 2.99 Silver plan is describing a product that isn’t for sale.
You’ll Appreciate the Brixly Platform If
- You’re a reseller or agency – Brixly is built around white-label reseller hosting with free custom nameservers
- You want UK infrastructure – the servers, the company and the support desk are all British
- You want NVMe storage – a faster class of solid-state drive, used across Brixly’s cloud platform
- You want a real refund window – 30 days beats Oxheberg’s 7
When NOT to Use Oxheberg
Kein Gastgeber passt zu jedem, and this one comes with an unusual set of caveats.
Schauen Sie woanders hin, wenn
You’re a new customer looking for Oxheberg specifically: There’s nothing to buy. Evaluate Brixly directly, or pick a different host. Don’t sign up because of a brand that was absorbed.
You value independence: Brixly bought Oxheberg. Enix bought Brixly. If consolidation worries you, this is consolidation.
You need a hard uptime guarantee: Oxheberg promised 99.9% with pro-rated refunds. Brixly’s terms pledge only “reasonable endeavours.” That’s a real downgrade in contractual protection.
Warnsignale für Ihre Situation
- Your business runs on email: The clearest red flag. Deliverability complaints appear in Brixly’s 2024 forum threads and its 2026 reviews alike. Host your mail elsewhere
- Telefonischer Support ist unerlässlich: A number exists, but priority phone support is pitched at the GBP 59.95/mo tier
- You hate price jumps: Brixly’s GBP 1.00 trials renew at up to 12.95x, and all prices are quoted before VAT
- You may want to leave later: 2026 reviewers describe cancellation requests that kept generating invoices. Get any cancellation confirmed in writing
- You pay by PayPal and you’re an existing customer: Brixly warns you must cancel your old Oxheberg PayPal subscription yourself or risk being billed twice
That PayPal trap is the most expensive mistake an Oxheberg customer can make. Cancel the old subscription, then set up the new one.

Oxheberg Plans and Pricing
⚠️ Verlängerungswarnung: The prices below are advertised on pages that no longer sell anything. Klicken “Buy Now” and you land in Brixly’s cPanel store. Dort, the headline offer is GBP 1.00 für den ersten Monat, and entry hosting renews at GBP 3.95/mo, ein 3.95x springen. Reseller hosting is worse: Britisches Pfund 1.00 becomes GBP 12.95/mo, ein 12.95x springen. Every Brixly price excludes VAT (the UK sales tax), so British buyers add 20%.
Legacy Oxheberg Pricing (No Longer Orderable)
Three plans are still displayed on oxheberg.com today:
- Silver – USD 2.99/mo: 1 Ader, 1GB RAM, 10GB Speicher, 100GB Bandbreite, 1 Domain, 2 E-mail Konten
- Gold – USD 9.99/mo: 2 Kerne, 2GB RAM, 30GB Speicher, 300GB Bandbreite, 5 Domänen, 10 E-Mails
- Diamond – USD 19.99/mo: 4 Kerne, 4GB RAM, unbegrenzter Speicherplatz und Bandbreite, unbegrenzte Domains, dedizierte IP-Adresse
Annual billing gave you two months free. But look at what’s missing. Gold and Diamond both carry a “50% AUS” Abzeichen, and the page never says 50% aus Was. No original price. No renewal price. Das Wort “erneuern” appears nowhere on that page.
What You Actually Pay Now (Brixly)
Every Oxheberg order link resolves to Brixly’s store. The real menu, all ex-VAT and billed monthly:
- Infinity: Britisches Pfund 1.00 erster Monat, dann GBP 3.95/mo (1 Ader, 1GB RAM)
- Infinity Plus: Britisches Pfund 1.00 erster Monat, dann GBP 9.95/mo (2 Kerne, 2GB RAM)
- Geschäft: Britisches Pfund 14.97 erster Monat, dann GBP 29.95/mo
- Reseller-Eintrag: Britisches Pfund 1.00 erster Monat, dann GBP 12.95/mo (20 cPanel-Konten)
- Cloud-Server: von GBP 10.00/mo, flat but unmanaged
Credit where it’s due: Brixly prints the GBP 3.95 renewal rate right beside the GBP 1.00 Angebot. It isn’t hiding the jump.
Existing Customers: Your Price Is Locked, With A Catch
Read Brixly’s migration notice closely. Your pricing is locked “for as long as you remain with us on the same package.” Aktualisierung, downgrade or switch plan, and you move to standard rates. The old deal dies with the old plan.
Versteckte Kosten, die es zu beachten gilt
- Umsatzsteuer: Brixly prices exclude it. Britisches Pfund 3.95 becomes GBP 4.74 for UK consumers
- Cloud server management: an add-on, ungefähr GBP 5 to GBP 15/mo
- Cloud server backups: from GBP 9.95/mo extra
- Domänen, SSL certificates and licences: excluded from refunds
- Spam violations under Oxheberg’s terms: US Dollar 250 plus USD 1.00 per email sent
Preisurteil
Oxheberg’s headline rates were cheap, and customers said so repeatedly. What nobody can tell you is what they renewed at, because Oxheberg never published the figure. Brixly’s model is at least legible: Britisches Pfund 1.00 trials renewing at up to 12.95x, printed on the page. One host advertised a discount without a baseline. The other shows you the bill.

Oxheberg Transparency Score
This is where the review gets uncomfortable.
- Firmeninformation: Arm. The site trades as “Oxheberg LLC” but publishes no company number, no registered address, no jurisdiction. Its About page still runs “Lorem ipsum Karotten” under the headings “Our History” und “The Oxheberg Brand.” That’s dummy filler text on a live commercial website.
- Preistransparenz: Begrenzt. Two plans are badged “50% AUS” with no original price shown, so the discount can’t be checked. Renewal pricing is never stated. Brixly does better, printing renewal rates beside its GBP 1.00 bietet an.
- Technische Dokumentation: Begrenzt. The four “Standorte” are CDN nodes, not selectable data centers. VPS was advertised but never sold. The copy carries visible typos, einschließlich “wen hosting” und “datacenteres.”
- Bedingungen & Richtlinien: Arm. The shared hosting page promises a “Risk Free 14 Day Money Back Guarantee.” The homepage says 7 Tage. So do the terms of service. They contradict each other on the single term buyers care most about.
The independence claim. One line still sits on Oxheberg’s homepage in July 2026, word for word:
“At Oxheberg we are different, we are independent, and will not be selling to any major conglomerate.”
Endurance International Group is named on that page as the villain. Oxheberg then sold to Brixly, owned by Enix Ltd. The promise is still live. The company that made it is gone.
One more disclosure gap. Brixly’s website displays “Company Number: 11187510.” That entity, Brixly Limited, was dissolved on 18 November 2025 per UK Companies House. Trading on as a brand under a parent is normal after an acquisition. Immer noch, the number published on the site points at a company that no longer exists.
Gesamttransparenz: Arm. Placeholder text, contradictory refund terms, a product advertised but never sold, and an independence pledge outlived by the sale it ruled out.
Alternatives to Oxheberg
Since the brand can’t be bought, where should you go instead?
For Staying Put: Brixly
It’s the default, and not a bad one. UK infrastructure, NVMe-Speicher, a 30-day refund window, honest renewal labelling. Go in knowing the GBP 1.00 trial renews at GBP 3.95 plus VAT, and keep your email elsewhere. Compare it in our Webhosting-Leitfaden für Großbritannien.
For Better Reseller Value: A Reseller Specialist
Reseller Entry at GBP 12.95/mo for 20 cPanel accounts is mid-market, not cheap. If reselling is your business, the margins live in the comparison. Start with our Hosting-Leitfaden für Reseller.
For Rock-Bottom Shared Hosting: A Budget Host
Ein USD 2.99 headline rate was the whole draw here. Cheap hosting still exists, but check the renewal line first. Unser Shared-Hosting-Leitfaden shows promo and renewal pricing side by side.
For Root Access: A Proper VPS
Cloud servers at Brixly start at GBP 10.00/mo but arrive unmanaged, with management billed separately. If you’re paying for a server anyway, weigh it against our VPS-Hosting-Leitfaden.
Fazit
Oxheberg earned 4.9/5 über 233 Bewertungen, and its customers meant it. Schnelle Unterstützung, cheap plans, a small operation that answered tickets. Then it sold to Brixly, and the brand quietly stopped existing.
Das Fazit
Nobody can buy Oxheberg in 2026, so that rating is a historical artifact, not a buying signal. Existing customers should stay put, cancel any old PayPal subscription, and expect a migration to Brixly’s hardware. Everyone else is really evaluating Brixly, beim 4.3/5 über 1,351 Bewertungen. Its support earns constant praise. Its email deliverability draws the complaints.
The most damning detail isn’t the sale itself. It’s that the homepage still promises the company will “not be selling to any major conglomerate.” Nobody even took the page down.

Häufig gestellte Fragen
Is Oxheberg still in business?
Not as an independent host. Brixly, a UK provider owned by Enix Ltd, kündigte die Übernahme am an 23 Februar 2026. Die Homepage von oxheberg.com leitet jetzt zu brixly.uk weiter, and the client portal redirects to Brixly’s billing system. Some old marketing pages are still online, but they no longer sell anything.
Can I still sign up for Oxheberg hosting?
Nein. Das “Buy Now” buttons send you to Brixly’s cPanel store. Der beworbene USD 2.99, US Dollar 9.99 und USD 19.99 plans can’t be ordered. Any site telling you otherwise hasn’t checked recently.
What happens to my existing Oxheberg account?
Your site keeps running on its current server, and your cPanel, FTP and email logins still work. Billing moved to client.brixly.uk. Your price is locked “as long as you remain on the same package,” so changing plans forfeits it. If you paid by PayPal, cancel that old subscription to avoid double billing.
Was Oxheberg any good?
Anhand der Zahlen, Ja. It held 4.9/5 von 233 Bewertungen, 229 of them 5-star and none at 1-star. Customers praised the support speed and low prices. Der Haken: a near-perfect score from a small review pool tells you less than a messier score drawn from thousands.
Is Brixly a good replacement for Oxheberg?
Für die meisten Menschen, Ja. It’s a bigger host with NVMe storage, UK data centers and a 30-day refund window, beating Oxheberg’s 7 Tage. Its support wins constant praise. But it scores 4.3/5 trotz 93% of reviews being 5-star, and that gap means recent feedback is pulling it down. The recurring complaint, im 2024 forum posts and 2026 reviews alike, is email deliverability. Wenn E-Mail für Ihr Unternehmen wichtig ist, host it elsewhere.
Does Oxheberg offer refunds?
Its own pages couldn’t agree. The shared hosting page advertised 14 Tage, while the homepage and terms of service both said 7. Domains and licences were excluded, and partial months were never refunded. Brixly now offers 30 Tage, and that’s the term that applies to you.
