What we can check is what they promise in writing, and the answer is: almost nothing. ProfesionalHosting publishes no uptime percentage anywhere on its site. Backups and data loss. A novembre 2025 a customer of three years described six hours of downtime from unscheduled maintenance. The data loss went back to a backup nearly two days old. Daily backups are advertised on every plan page. The contract obliges you to keep your own copies anyway.

Decline after the takeover. A two-star reviewer of eight years put it plainly in August 2025: the owners changed and service became impersonal. Others say the same in different words, describing a company that was excellent a decade ago and is ordinary now.

Upselling instead of fixing. Two reviewers report the answer to a slow or crashing site was to buy more RAM and CPU. One says prices creep up by at least EUR 6 per service every year.

Here’s a live example of why domain renewals matter. The checkout still displays a banner offering a free .online or .store domain, headed “Promotion this month only”.
