That matters because of the older story. In a 2024 Akamai case study, HostArmada co-founder Simeon Mitev called Akamai “our cloud computing partner”. Reviews since then describe HostArmada as a layer on Akamai’s cloud. A test server doesn’t prove where every customer account lives. Encore, these are the machines HostArmada itself offers as samples, and its own site names neither provider.

No recent third-party speed or uptime benchmark turned up in our research. What users report is mixed. Most five-star reviews call the service fast.
