An independent German monitoring project has watched one WordPress site on webgo from Google’s Frankfurt data centre since July 2016. The customer portal rebuild is the third theme. webgo switched off its old Webspace Admin interface on 14 janvier 2026 and shipped a large portal update on 22 avril 2026. Complaints from March and April describe mailboxes locked behind a primary address the customer didn’t know. Others describe lists that can’t be sorted, DNS settings that can’t be exported, and mailboxes missing from the interface entirely.

A smaller but sharp theme: shared mail servers landing on spam blocklists, which stops customers sending email through no fault of their own.

How upfront is webgo with information? That’s a separate question from how good the hosting is.

And if you do sign up, buy the CMS plan rather than the plain NVMe plan. It’s cheaper with double the memory.
