Hostazor was a small Turkish host based in Antalya. It sold cPanel hosting to customers in Turkey, the Middle East and eastern Europe. cPanel is the industry-standard control panel for managing websites, courrier électronique et bases de données. A customer in Mexico rated it 2.0 after a server stayed down more than two days, and flatly accused the positive reviews of being fake. A customer in France rated it 1.0 over a refund that was offered and then withdrawn, with the support ticket closed before they could reply.

Hostazor answered all three publicly, and the tone is part of the record. One reply accused the reviewer of fraud and of writing a “fake evaluation”, and referenced reporting them to a spam blocklist. That’s an unusual way to handle a complaint in public.
