Hostazor was a small Turkish host based in Antalya. It sold cPanel hosting to customers in Turkey, the Middle East and eastern Europe. cPanel is the industry-standard control panel for managing websites, correo electrónico y bases de datos. The catalogue shrank steadily over its last few years.

The successor tells you nothing. Foxxy’s website names no data centre, no city and no country. To find out, you have to look up the server address yourself. Do that and you land on Contabo, a budget provider in Germany. A Turkish customer who stayed through the rebrand has quietly moved country.

No independent speed test or uptime data exists for Hostazor, and none exists for Foxxy. There is nothing to check the marketing against.

The marketing rewards close reading. Every Foxxy product page runs a banner reading “99.9% Tiempo de actividad”. The terms of service say something else. The praise centres on support doing the work. A reviewer from Algeria wrote that they made a typing error when buying a domain and staff simply fixed it. Another said staff solved problems “without any intervention from me”, contrasting that with hosts that send instructions and leave you to it.

Price came up repeatedly. Reviewers from Afghanistan, Sudan and Pakistan all described the tariffs as cheap and the support as fast.

Across all 91 comentarios, exactly three score below 4.0. All three are English-language, and all three are dedicated server customers.

A customer in Malta rated it 2.0 and listed the problems in detail. Support English read like machine translation and took several rounds to get a point across. Their server went down for more than 24 hours while support said they were waiting on the data centre. Invoice numbers didn’t match the ones in the control panel, dates moved around, and amounts varied. PayPal payments failed on Hostazor’s side and the service was suspended anyway. Payment receipts arrived from an unrelated baby goods retailer using a Gmail address.

A customer in Mexico rated it 2.0 after a server stayed down more than two days, and flatly accused the positive reviews of being fake. A customer in France rated it 1.0 over a refund that was offered and then withdrawn, with the support ticket closed before they could reply.

Hostazor answered all three publicly, and the tone is part of the record. One reply accused the reviewer of fraud and of writing a “fake evaluation”, and referenced reporting them to a spam blocklist. That’s an unusual way to handle a complaint in public.

Renewal note: Hostazor’s renewal multiplier was 1.0X. What you paid in month one, you paid in month thirteen. That’s unusual, and it’s the best thing about this host. The catch sits in the refund terms.

No. That domain was registered fresh in January 2026 by a different owner and sits on unrelated infrastructure. It sells yearly plans starting at 800 MEGABYTE, which Hostazor never offered. Its About page returns an error, and its footer still shows unedited template text. Treat it as a separate business that took the name.

Is Hostazor good for beginners?

The control panel is standard cPanel, which is easy enough to learn. But the entry plan gives you 2 GB of space and one FTP account. There’s also no refund policy to fall back on. Beginners benefit most from a guarantee, and this host has none.
