Réponse courte: Cherry Servers suits developers who want bare metal in Europe and can run Linux without help. Bare metal means a whole physical machine rented to you alone, with nobody else sharing it. It’s the wrong choice if your project sends email.
Cette revue s'appuie sur 149 Avis sur Trustpilot, 8 Avis sur HostAdvice, Sujets Reddit, the company’s pricing API, its status page and its contract. Unlike affiliate reviews, we show the cheaper plans the pricing page hides and the traffic limits that change by city.
Évaluation globale: Cherry Servers scores 4.4 hors de 5 à travers 149 Avis sur Trustpilot, avec 82% à cinq étoiles. Reviewers praise support speed above everything else. The common complaints are email sending limits, early billing chases and refund refusals. Best suited to DevOps teams and blockchain node operators.
One dated change matters before you trust an older review. Entre 19 May and 21 août 2026, Cherry Servers raised its AMD Ryzen 9950X bare metal server from EUR 259 c'est des euros 389 un mois. Cette 50% rise means older reviews understate what the machine costs today.

Fonctionnalités et services
Cherry Servers sells infrastructure, pas des sites Web. Il n'y a pas d'hébergement mutualisé, no cPanel bundle and no website builder. You get a machine, an operating system and an API.
Types d'hébergement proposés
- Bare metal dedicated servers – 48 configurations, from EUR 49/mo to EUR 1,351/mo
- Cloud VPS – shared-resource virtual machines, 1 à 6 vCores (cœurs de processeur virtuels), from EUR 3/mo
- Cloud VDS – virtual servers with dedicated CPU cores rather than shared ones, from EUR 29/mo
- Premium and Performance VDS – the same idea on faster AMD chips, from EUR 59/mo
- Cloud ARM VDS – AmpereONE processors, Lituanie uniquement, from EUR 9/mo
- Storage VPS – large spinning disks with SSD caching, from EUR 19/mo
- Add-ons – block storage from EUR 0.066/GB/mo, backups from EUR 2.99 per 50GB, load balancer from EUR 10.14/mo
Principales caractéristiques mises en avant par les clients
Reviewers keep returning to the same three things.
- Vitesse de prise en charge – the most repeated praise everywhere. A Polish reviewer in March 2026 said support “responds instantly (même à 2-3 suis.)”
- Hourly bare metal billing – uncommon here, and it lets you benchmark a machine for a few euros before committing
- Hardware flexibility – a Reddit user in June 2025 rated the customisation above Hetzner and Netcup
Spot servers are worth a mention. These are discounted machines the company can reclaim, priced 20% under the hourly rate. The SLA excludes them. An SLA is the uptime commitment a host puts in writing, and here it’s 99.97%.
Emplacements des centres de données
Seven locations: Siauliai in Lithuania, Amsterdam, Chicago, Singapour, Stockholm, Frankfurt and Tokyo. Frankfurt opened on 12 février 2025, and Tokyo went live on 13 Mai 2026 inside Equinix TY15.
The map looks broader than the stock does. Lithuania and Chicago hold roughly 89% of all available units, contre 30 in Frankfurt and 26 in Tokyo. Sixteen of the 48 bare metal plans show zero stock everywhere.
Attentes en matière de performances
An independent HostAdvice reviewer tested the Cloud VDS 4 plan, with results updated on 27 juillet 2026. They measured NVMe disk reads at 13GB/sec and network speeds at 80% à 92% of the advertised 1Gbps. NVMe is flash storage several times faster than older SATA SSDs.
There’s a real status page too, with incident detail that many hosts never publish. Between May and August 2026 it logged 21 événements: 13 planned maintenance windows, 4 degraded performance incidents and 4 interruptions de service. Sur 22 juillet 2026 servers in two Lithuanian modules ran on battery power three times, and the company’s own note blamed “old server/PSU hardware”.
Expérience client
The Trustpilot score sits at 4.4 hors de 5 à travers 149 Commentaires, 39 of them from the last twelve months. The distribution is 122 cinq étoiles, 11 quatre étoiles, 5 trois étoiles, 2 deux étoiles et 9 une étoile. HostAdvice shows a lower 3.6 hors de 5, but from only 8 Commentaires.
One pattern deserves flagging. De la 20 most recent Trustpilot reviews, 15 venait d'invitations d'entreprise, and every one is four or five stars. Both one-star reviews arrived unprompted. Les avis invités ne sont pas faux, but they measure something narrower: people whose support ticket just closed well.
Ce que les clients louent
Support response time dominates. Reviewers describe replies within minutes at any hour, from engineers rather than scripted first-line staff. A US customer in May 2026 said uptime “has been rock solid with zero unexpected downtime”.
La valeur passe en second. A French customer in January 2025 called the hardware strong for the money. He added one caveat: dedicated servers sometimes take longer than 15 minutes to appear.
Payment flexibility comes third, and a Dutch reviewer in April 2026 singled out paying in cryptocurrency.
Plaintes courantes
Email sending is the biggest, and it recurs. A Romanian customer in January 2024 quoted the exact error: “Temporary delayed by rate limit for new clients, try later (2/h)”. An Egyptian customer in December 2025 hit the same wall, and noted the limit appears nowhere in the terms.
We checked that. Serveurs Cerise’ knowledge base contains zero mentions of SMTP, Port 25 or sending limits. The only clause touching email says the company may “monitor outgoing SMTP service traffic”.
Billing practice is second. A German customer in July 2026 described invoices marked overdue a week before the due date. One failed card charge then brought a Saturday morning email and network access cut off over the weekend. Cherry Servers replied in public and agreed: “weekend suspensions are not a good process… It is a fair point, and it’s on us.”
Refund refusals are third, clustering around sanctions policy. A Kazakh customer in July 2026 was refused a refund inside the 15-day window. The contract backs the company up: clause 2.2 treats orders from EU-sanctioned countries as a breach, and says the fee “will not be refunded”.
Commentaires de la communauté (Reddit & Les forums)
Cherry Servers has a thin community footprint for its size. In a July 2026 thread on r/hetzner, one commenter said plainly: “I’ve rarely heard anyone use Cherry.”
A more detailed first-hand account came in that same thread, from a user who has run servers at Cherry Servers, Hetzner, OVHcloud and Netcup. He called support “okay” but listed two problems. There was no IPv6 at the time. A server was also null-routed during a DDoS attack, which is a traffic flood meant to knock a machine offline. He believes it caught him in the crossfire. Null-routing means the provider drops all your traffic to protect the network.
That IPv6 gap has since closed, because Cherry Servers added IPv6 to bare metal on 17 août 2025. The mail problem hasn’t. On r/VPS in January 2026, a long-term customer wrote that the company throttles port 25 and also prevents STARTTLS. STARTTLS is the command that encrypts a mail connection. That’s three independent people, on two platforms, sur deux ans, describing one undocumented limit.
Positive feedback exists too. Un mois de juin 2025 r/selfhosted commenter reported solid performance and no uptime issues.
Qualité de l'assistance
Look closely and you’ll find three different response figures on the company’s own site. Moyennes du chat en direct 15 secondes, a ticket technician replies within 45 minutes, and the FAQ claims a 15-minute first response. The independent HostAdvice tester measured replies under 30 seconds and called the claim accurate.
Les chaînes sont un chat en direct, billets et téléphone, with numbers for the US, UK and Lithuania. The company replies to 100% de ses avis Trustpilot négatifs, faire la moyenne 4.25 journées, and those replies read as specific rather than templated.
When to Use Cherry Servers
Here are the three cases where this is an easy recommendation.
Idéal pour
DevOps teams that want predictable bills: there’s no promotional rate that expires, no renewal multiplier and no setup fee. In a year when two big European rivals raised prices, that stability is worth something.
Blockchain node operators: the company runs a Web3 line, joined the DoubleZero network in September 2025, and hosts Solana and NEAR validator infrastructure. That’s a real specialism, not a landing page.
Anyone testing hardware first: hourly bare metal billing is uncommon. You can rent a 64-core EPYC for a few hours, comparez-le, then destroy it.
Vous l'apprécierez si
- You need a Lithuanian or Nordic location, because few providers sell bare metal in either
- You want generous included traffic, because most European and US bare metal tiers carry 100TB a month
- You want to pay in cryptocurrency, because USDC is accepted alongside cards
- You want a provider with published accounts, showing EUR 12.04 million of 2024 revenue at a 24% net margin
When NOT to Use Cherry Servers
Aucun hôte ne convient à tout le monde. Cherry Servers is wrong for you if any of these apply.
Regardez ailleurs si
Your project sends email: this is the clearest disqualifier. Outgoing mail is throttled to roughly two messages an hour and STARTTLS is blocked. None of it is documented before you pay.
You want managed services: there are no managed databases, no object storage and no serverless functions. You get machines and build the rest.
Vous êtes débutant: pas de cPanel, pas de WordPress en un clic, pas de créateur de site web. The company assumes you can administer Linux over SSH, a remote command-line connection.
You pay from a CIS country: two reviewers describe accounts refused and balances withheld under the sanctions clause. Know it exists before you send money.
Drapeaux rouges pour votre situation
- You need guaranteed backups: clause 9.1 says the company “does not provide back-up services”, even though backups are sold as a product
- You want to leave quickly: la fenêtre de remboursement est 15 days from the order date. Clause 17.2 refuses any refund of a remaining prepaid term
- You hate auto-renewal: orders renew automatically, and cancelling needs 30 journées’ notice before the term ends
- You want new hardware in Asia: Tokyo and Singapore carry the thinnest stock and the highest prices
Si l'un de ces éléments s'applique, regardez les alternatives ci-dessous.
Alternatives to Cherry Servers
If Cherry Servers doesn’t fit, these three cover the gaps.
For Managed Services: Scaleway
Scaleway’s Elastic Metal line starts at EUR 27.99/mo, ou EUR 0.077 une heure. The difference is everything around it: stockage d'objets, managed databases and managed Kubernetes. Watch the commitment fee equal to one month’s rental, which hourly billing avoids. Notre Guide européen de l'hébergement dédié couvre le champ plus large.
For Cheaper European Bare Metal: Hetzner
Hetzner remains the price benchmark. The Reddit user who scraped five providers’ catalogues in July 2026 still hadn’t found better. Deux mises en garde: Hetzner raised prices three times during 2026, and it blocks ports 25 et 465 par défaut. Voir notre comparaison de serveur dédié.
For Breadth of Services: OVHcloud
OVHcloud sells far more product lines and easier console access. The Reddit commenter who has used both now rates it better on price and performance. Time your purchase carefully. OVHcloud is raising dedicated prices by 28% on 2024-generation hardware and 51% on current generation, with running servers repriced on 1 octobre 2026. Cherry Servers Plans and Pricing
Bonne nouvelle d'abord. Cherry Servers has no renewal shock. The monthly price you see is the price you keep paying, and annual billing takes 15% off most plans. There are no setup fees, and prices exclude VAT.
⚠️ Avertissement de prix: The trap isn’t renewal, it’s the plan list. Cherry Servers sells two generations of Cloud VPS side by side. Cloud VPS 4 frais EUR 29/mo et les scores 1,577 on the site’s own benchmark. Cloud VPS 4 (Gén 2) frais 9 EUR/mois, has identical CPU, RAM and disk, et les scores 2,200. The older plan is listed first. The cheaper, faster one sits below plans costing EUR 169.
Cloud VPS
Second generation: EUR 3, 6, 9 and 13/mo for 1, 2, 4 et 6 vCores. All seven locations. Each includes 1TB of monthly traffic.
First generation: EUR 9, 19, 29 and 39/mo for the same core counts. Four locations. Each includes 5TB of traffic.
So the older line costs roughly three times as much for lower measured performance. All it adds is five times the free traffic. Serveurs Cerise’ own FAQ concedes the point, saying the newer generation gives “better performance at the same or lower cost”. The plan cards never mention it.
Watch one quirk: annual billing saves 15% on nearly everything, but the Gen 2 plans get no discount at all.
Cloud VDS and Premium VDS
VDS cloud: list EUR 49 à 129 EUR/mois, currently discounted to EUR 29 to EUR 109/mo.
Premium VDS: list EUR 69 to EUR 149/mo, discounted to EUR 59 à 129 EUR/mois.
These give you dedicated physical cores instead of shared ones. The discounts show as the recurring price, but the contract doesn’t promise they survive renewal. Clause 17.3 says you pay “the fee applicable to any such renewal”.
Serveurs dédiés nus
Listed range: EUR 149 to EUR 1,351/mo across 33 plans on the pricing page.
Actual range: EUR 49 to EUR 1,351/mo across 48 plans in the ordering system.
Entre 19 May and 21 août 2026, Cherry Servers removed all 14 of its legacy Intel Xeon plans from the pricing page. Every one is still on sale on its own product page. The 2013-era E3-1240v3 costs EUR 49/mo, and the 2016-era E5-1620v4 lists at EUR 115/mo with 174 units in stock. You just can’t find them by browsing.
Location Changes the Price
Does a server cost the same everywhere? Not here. The same plan name costs different amounts in different cities, and Asia costs far more for far less traffic.
- AMD EPYC 7443P: EUR 169/mo with 100TB of traffic in Lithuania, Amsterdam and Chicago. EUR 321/mo with 20TB in Singapore. C'est 90% more money for one fifth of the bandwidth
- AMD Ryzen 9700X: EUR 189 with 100TB in Amsterdam and Chicago, EUR 279 with 20TB in Tokyo
- AMD EPYC 9354P: EUR 549 list everywhere, but discounted to EUR 419 in Frankfurt, Stockholm and Chicago only. Buying it in the company’s home data centre costs 31% plus
Coûts cachés à surveiller
- Sauvegardes: a paid add-on from EUR 2.99 per 50GB, while clause 9.1 says the company “does not provide back-up services”
- Facturation à l'heure: dearer than monthly. A Cloud VPS 1 run continuously costs about EUR 10.94/mo hourly against EUR 9 mensuel
- Blacklisting penalty: clause 6.5 charges EUR 100, plus EUR 100 per staff hour, if your traffic gets their mail servers blocked
- Crypto restriction: clause 3.3 blocks new crypto-paying customers from the cheapest plans without identity checks or EUR 100 of spend
Verdict sur les prix
Flat pricing is a real advantage in 2026. Hetzner raised prices three times this year, and OVHcloud announced rises of up to 87% from September 2026. Cherry Servers went the other way on older stock. Its AMD EPYC 7443P fell from EUR 459/mo in September 2025 to EUR 169/mo, une 63% couper. Newer hardware moved the opposite way, so the memory squeeze reached them too.

Cherry Servers Transparency Score
We assess how upfront Cherry Servers is with what a buyer needs to know.
- Informations sur la société: Excellent. Serveurs Cerise, UAB is registered in Lithuania under code 145747029, incorporated on 2 avril 2001 in Siauliai. The address, three phone numbers and the leadership team are published. ISO/CEI 27001:2022 certification was confirmed on 10 Mars 2026
- Transparence des prix: Bien, with gaps. Des prix, specs and stock counts are published openly, and the public API returns the whole catalogue without an account. But the pricing page hides 15 cheaper bare metal plans and lists a superseded VPS line first
- Documentation technique: Excellent, with one hole. The knowledge base is detailed and the changelog is dated entry by entry. The hole is email, where nothing about sending limits appears at all
- termes & Politiques: Limité. The terms carry no effective date or version number, and the SLA page’s build stamp still reads 2023. The uptime commitment and its credit table are clear enough
Transparence globale: au-dessus de la moyenne. Cherry Servers publishes more raw data than most hosts, including stock counts and real incident reports. What it leaves out tends to be whatever would cost it a sale.
Our verdict is 4.1 hors de 5, en dessous du 4.4 Score Pilote de confiance. The review corpus is heavily invitation-driven, and it measures support tickets more than the product.
L'essentiel
Avec 4.4 hors de 5 à travers 149 Commentaires, Cherry Servers delivers what customers care about most. Support is fast and human, and pricing stays flat at renewal. It falls short on email, on documenting its own limits, and on a pricing page that steers you toward dearer plans.
Buy it if you want European bare metal at a price that stays put. Skip it if you need to send mail or want managed databases.
Before ordering, check the same plan’s price in two locations, then scroll past the first-generation VPS plans. Those two checks can halve your bill. Pour plus d'options, voir notre Lithuania hosting guide.
Questions fréquemment posées
Is Cherry Servers good for beginners?
Non, and it doesn’t claim to be. Il n'y a pas de cPanel, no one-click WordPress and no website builder. You connect over SSH and manage the server yourself.
Is Cherry Servers worth the price?
For bare metal in Europe, Oui. Prices are flat, there’s no setup fee, and annual billing saves 15%. The catch is that the best value isn’t shown first. The second-generation Cloud VPS line costs a third of the first-generation line and benchmarks faster.
De quoi les clients se plaignent-ils le plus ??
Trois choses. Outgoing email is throttled to roughly two messages an hour, and none of it is documented. Invoices get chased before the due date, and service can be suspended over a weekend. Refunds have been refused inside the 15-day window.
How does Cherry Servers compare to Hetzner?
Hetzner is cheaper on comparable hardware and has a far larger community. Cherry Servers offers more locations, hourly bare metal billing and more customisation. Hetzner a augmenté ses prix à trois reprises 2026, while Cherry Servers cut prices on older stock.
Can I run a mail server on Cherry Servers?
En pratique, non. Several customers report outgoing mail limited to about two messages an hour, with STARTTLS blocked. The terms only say the company monitors SMTP traffic, and the knowledge base says nothing about limits.
Does Cherry Servers offer refunds?
Oui, dans 15 days of placing the order, less setup fees, custom hardware and third-party licences. There’s no refund of an unused prepaid term after that. Orders auto-renew, so cancel 30 jours avant la fin de votre mandat.
