Hostinger began in November 2004 in Kaunas, Lituânia, under the name Hosting Media. It is now headquartered in Vilnius. Its About page says it has never been publicly listed. A private equity firm, ConHostinger, holds around 30%, and the founders and team own the rest. Hostinger claims more than 5 million customers in over 150 países.

What Hostinger Sells

Plan names hide most of the detail, so Hostinger’s own limits page is worth reading before you pick. Hostinger’s About page lists data centers in France, Alemanha, Lituânia, the Netherlands and the UK. In North America it names Phoenix, Boston e Asheville.
