Their infrastructure page talks about “French datacenters” in the plural and claims an ISO 27001 installation certifiée. It never says lequel facilité, or which city. Independent tracking lists a single datacenter on a single continent. Need servers outside Europe? Wrong host.

Be careful here, because a claim is circulating that isn’t what it appears to be. Several review sites report that OnetSolutions “consistently outperformed the competition,” citing single-thread CPU performance of 1,666 events per second. Those numbers are real. But they aren’t from an independent benchmark. They come from one customer’s Trustpilot review, posted in February 2026 by an account with a single review to its name. Treat it as one user’s report, not as testing.

Genuine independent data cuts both ways. Benchmark trackers have given OnetSolutions repeated “Meilleur VPS” awards in the sub-USD 25 and sub-USD 120 brackets, most recently for 2025, so the price-to-performance story holds up. But the same testing punctures a marketing claim. OnetSolutions advertises VPS delivery “dans 10 secondes.” Measured provisioning across 12 servers gave a median of 165 secondes, and a worst case near seven hours. Not ten seconds, jamais.

Support going quiet during real incidents. A US customer reinstalled his operating system and the VPS broke completely, stuck in an installing state for almost a day. He reports the ticket he opened two hours in was never answered. That’s the sharp edge of a ticket-only model: there’s no phone to escalate to.

Anyone burned by renewal pricing before: If you’ve watched a host double your bill in year two, the flat pricing here is the whole pitch.

Projects that need data to stay in France: Servers are in France, the company is a French SAS with published registration details, and GDPR compliance is native rather than bolted on.

Haute performance (HP) – from EUR 7.99/mo. HP-4: 4 Go de RAM, 2 vCPU, 40 GB NVMe, 1 Gbit / s. AMD EPYC 9554 with DDR5 memory.

⚠️ The mistake most OnetSolutions buyers make: le “Haute performance” line costs moins than “Usage général” at every tier where both exist, and beats it on every specification. Comparer:

That same pattern holds at 16 Go et 32 GB. You pay a euro less for a newer processor, DDR5 memory and four to five times the network speed. So why does anyone buy General Purpose? Because the homepage points there, and the plan cards don’t tell you what chip you’re getting.

Ils disent “Intel Xeon 2.60 GHz.” The order form, and only the order form, names the model: un Intel Xeon E5-2680 v4, a processor that launched in early 2016. It’s a decade old. Independent trackers flag OnetSolutions as a provider that hides its CPU models. Here’s why that matters: the entry line most people buy runs 2016 Matériel, while a cheaper line runs 2023 silicon.

Plat, permanent pricing is a real advantage. But the plan structure works against the buyer twice over: the advertised entry line is the worst value in the catalogue, and a headline feature on every plan card becomes a paid extra at the till.

Transparence globale: Mixte, and unusually so. On the thing hosts most often lie about, prix, OnetSolutions is more honest than most of the market. On the things it should find easy, an accurate FAQ and a truthful feature list, it’s careless to the point of misleading. Don’t trust the marketing pages. Verify in the cart.

But you have to steer around the company’s own marketing to get there. Skip the General Purpose line the homepage pushes at you. Add EUR 4.99 a month for the backups the plan card says you already have. Ignore the FAQ. Do those three things and this is one of the better-value VPS hosts in Europe. Do none of them and you’ll pay more for less, then discover your backups were never running.

Recommended for technical users in Europe. Not for anyone who needs a phone number, a second region, or a website they can take at face value.
