Hivelocity started in Tampa, Florida in 2002 and sells infrastructure rather than website hosting. There’s no shared hosting here and no cPanel-and-domain bundle. You rent a machine and you run it.

The page splits those 44 into three tabs: Amérique du Nord 22, L'Europe  13, Asie-Pacifique 9. Three sites are filed on the wrong continent. Sao Paulo, Brazil sits under North America. Johannesbourg, South Africa and Lagos, Nigeria both sit under Europe.

Those three are precisely the sites Hivelocity gained when it bought UK provider Heficed in January 2023. They appear to have been bolted onto the existing tabs rather than given regions of their own. Le séparé “6 continents” claim is accurate, but only because of the three sites the tabs misplace.

Sites are tagged CORE or EDGE. Core sites hold on-demand hardware and the fuller network blend; edge sites carry a thinner set of configurations.

We read Hivelocity’s published legal and SLA page in full, tout 42,620 characters of it. It contains no uptime percentage anywhere. There is no availability commitment and no service credit schedule.
