DreamHost has sold hosting since 1997 and says it hosts over 1.5 million websites for more than 400,000 clientes. It is still privately owned. A DreamHost staff account restated that on Reddit on 25 septiembre 2026. The range now runs from shared hosting to dedicated servers, plus an AI site builder called Remixer.

• 27 agosto 2026: the exclusion now reads “VPS”, with no exception for managed VPS.

Four of those six changes cut what you can get refunded or add a charge. The other two, the new data centers, work in your favour.

DreamHost publishes more than most hosts, and it dates every change to its terms. Where it falls short is the uptime promise and some of its marketing claims.
