Two things are advertised but can’t be bought normally. The dedicated server page is headed “Dedicated VPS Server plan”. Every order button on it goes to the same six VPS products. There’s no bare metal machine here. The reseller hosting page advertises USD 17.41/mo and carries no order link at all, only a contact form.

Here’s the one to watch. The Ecommerce Hosting page in the main menu still sends its buttons to Bronze, Plata y Oro, the shared plans DaManager retired earlier this year. Those product pages still load and still take orders. Buy through that page and you get an older plan at the current price.

Compartido, WordPress and email plans say only “Global Data Center”. There’s no location list and no choice at checkout. If latency matters to you, that’s a blank you can’t fill.

The Linux VPS order form is different. It lets you pick from eight named locations: Beauharnois, Sydney, Singapur, Estrasburgo, Gravelinas, Varsovia, Francfort y Londres. All eight are OVHcloud VPS regions, and one review platform lists DaManager’s locations as London and Roubaix, another OVHcloud site. We verified the location list from the order form. We could not verify who owns the hardware, and DaManager doesn’t say.

No independent benchmark data exists for this host. Nobody has published speed or uptime tests, so there’s nothing to cite.

We did measure one thing ourselves. TTFB, or time to first byte, is how long a server takes to start replying. Six requests to the DaManager homepage on 14 septiembre 2026 returned a TTFB between 5.30 y 15.14 segundos. Cloudflare reported the page as uncached on every request, so each one reached the origin server. That measures their WordPress marketing site, not a customer account. It doesn’t tell you how a hosted site performs. It does tell you the company’s own server was slow that day.

Their public status page is more revealing, and it’s a strange thing to publish. It’s titled “Shared Servers” but monitors nothing except three DaManager websites. En 14 septiembre 2026 its 24-hour figures read 90.972% for the .com site, 99.861% for the .ng site, y 0.139% for the .co.uk site. The .co.uk monitor had failed on all 100 checks in the window, and the domain timed out for us too.

Take that for what it is. A clean sheet across 93 reviews in eight years isn’t proof of a clean service. It’s proof of a small sample. Trustpilot itself flags the profile with “No recent history of asking for reviews. This company hasn’t invited customers recently, so reviews may not be representative.” The newest Trustpilot review is dated 30 julio 2025. The newest review on the larger platform is 26 abril 2025.

That absence is worth reading carefully. It doesn’t mean customers are unhappy, and it doesn’t mean they’re happy. It means that for a host claiming 20,000 clientes, no independent community has formed an opinion. A host of that size usually leaves a trail somewhere. One pattern is visible in the reviews we did find. Reviewers are mostly in Nigeria, with a minority in the UK. That matches the site itself. It carries dozens of landing pages aimed at Lagos, Abuja, Warri, Owerri and Port Harcourt. The homepage is titled “Mejor alojamiento web del Reino Unido”. Every plan card on the site says “24/7 Apoyo”, and the homepage promises technicians available “24/7/365”. The terms of service say something different. DaManager makes sense in a few specific situations.

Nigerian small businesses wanting local billing and local phone support: the client area takes NGN and the site is built for this market. The review base confirms it’s where their customers are. A UK-registered company that answers a Nigerian number is a genuine niche.

Buyers who want a website built and hosted by the same team: the agency side is real and predates the hosting. If you want one supplier for design, hosting and email, that’s a coherent reason to be here.

When NOT to Use DaManager

Reselling is your business model: the reseller page advertises a price and gives you no way to pay it. You’d be starting a business relationship by emailing a form and hoping.

You need a refund safety net on a VPS: the refund policy lists “Alojamiento de servidor VPS” under products not available for refunds. Monthly billing is a must: shared hosting has no monthly option at all, and WordPress starts at quarterly.

All prices are in USD. The terms state the company is UK based but bills in dollars, and the client area also offers GBP and NGN.

The discount is a flat 30% for three years and 20% for two, applied to every tier. Three years of Growth costs USD 252.00 por adelantado. Three years of Professional costs USD 302.40. Nothing renews at a penalty rate, which is a real point in their favour. The catch is the commitment, not the renewal.

Quarterly is the shortest term, and the annual discount is only 10%. At the time of checking, the WP Plus page showed “25 Disponible”, so stock is capped.

VPS and Windows VPS

Linux VPS runs from USD 20.00/mo (4 vCPU, 8GB de RAM, 75GB NVMe) to USD 200.00/mo (24 vCPU, 96GB, 400GB). Windows runs from USD 31.00/mo to USD 292.00/mo. Monthly billing is available and the price is identical at every term, so there’s no discount for committing.

Three different numbers across four statements. The refund policy also refers to “the effective date shown at the top of this policy”, and no date is shown.

Transparencia general: mezclado, and the pattern is consistent. The parts written by someone who runs servers are honest and detailed. The parts written by someone selling them aren’t. Read the cart and the policy pages, and treat the marketing copy as decoration.
