Here’s the part other reviews skip. Apex charges the same for a given amount of RAM everywhere, but the hardware behind it spans a decade.

Pick New York, Miami, Amsterdam or Singapore and you land on a Ryzen 9 7950X with DDR5 memory. Storage is NVMe: a solid state drive wired straight to the processor, several times faster than an older SSD. Pick Sydney and you get an i7-7700K, a four core desktop chip from 2017. Pick Tel Aviv and you get twin Xeon E5-2690 v2 processors on DDR3 memory, a platform that shipped in 2013.

None of those older machines sit under the site’s “Legacy Hardware” tab, which holds just two entries. So the 2013 Xeons are current, supported, full price hardware. Same money, very different machine.

There’s confusion about the EX Series too. Its pricing page bullet lists “Ryzen 9 7950X”. The paragraph directly beneath describes “4 exclusive vCores of a Ryzen 9 5900X (US & EU)”. The hardware page agrees with the paragraph, not the bullet, and that contradiction has been live since at least 2 January 2026.
