Allnodes publishes its own Solana latency leaderboard. It puts the Frankfurt route at 61.68 ms average round-trip time to validators, ahead of AWS, OVH and Vultr there. Treat a vendor’s own leaderboard with due caution.

You want a website hosted: This needs saying plainly, because Allnodes turns up in hosting directories. No shared hosting, no cPanel, no email, no WordPress.

You need a contractual uptime guarantee: The pricing pages advertise 99.00%, 99.90% and 99.98% uptime SLAs by tier. The Terms of Service run past 34,000 characters and contain no occurrence of “SLA,” “service level,” “service credit” or any uptime percentage. Instead they say the service is “AS IS,” with “NO WARRANTY THAT… THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.” No remedy exists if the figure is missed, because contractually there’s no SLA.

You expect a refund if things go wrong: The terms are blunt. “Due to the digital set-up nature of our Services, we offer no refunds on our payment plans.” Prepaid time is non-refundable “for any reason whatsoever.” Setup fees are “deemed earned.” Cancel holding a positive balance and “you will forgo the remaining credit.”

You’re running ten or more validators: The per-node model that makes Allnodes cheap at small scale works against you. Your own dedicated server costs less past the crossover point.

Your workload has to sit in the United States: One instantly-available bare-metal configuration in Ashburn against 24 in Frankfurt isn’t an American offering. Custom builds are quoted at three days.

Red Flags for Your Situation

• You might let your balance run negative: the harshest clause in the contract. After a 7-day grace period (3 days for SEED accounts), Allnodes may apply a penalty equal to your entire debt, doubling it. On Ethereum and Gnosis it may also switch your validator’s fee recipient to its own address and take 100% of priority and MEV rewards. Dash, Firo and Syscoin masternodes lose 20%, 80% and 50% of rewards respectively, rising to 90% after three unpaid invoices.
• You’re relying on slashing insurance: there is none on Basic. On Advanced it lapses if more than 100 Allnodes nodes are slashed in 24 hours.
